Dear The Mittani. well space cowboy, I hope you have picked yourself up off the floor and dried your delicious delicious tears, nay, gathered them up and evaporate them until they have crystalized into awesome, and then smoked that ****. Time to forge ahead with renewed conviction! Time for something different… I task you with forging an ANTI-CSM.

It should be recruited from among the 10058 that did vote for you.
You would be the Anti-Chairman.
And ideally they would all gather at Alex’ house to discuss the affairs of the day, with as much drinking and mayhem as possible.
Minutes would be necessary, or at the least, a live webcast to allow the festivities to be shared.
A round table format, perhaps? Or think 12 Angry Men, but with more booze and goons...
The ANTI-CSM should appear in public space for much explosions.
But the true backbone of the ANTI-CSM would be ‘fun’ ways to ‘break’ the game.
Since they have beat us to death with what actually makes the game run the eternal triangle of;
harvest – manufactor – destroy.

  • How can you stop the harvest without destroying? Rifters scrambling and orbiting till downtime? A Day Without Veldspar.
  • Eat up production slots without producing anything? Build orders inputed then canceled, locking up manufacturing slots.
  • Or god help us all, what would CCP do if for one day NOTHING died… imagine goons in belts repping rat. THE HORROR


Sadly, this does feed into CCP’s marketing, which as David Reid(the new marketing guy) told us, after spend a lot of time on his resume’, he’s waiting for us to do something awesome. So he can take credit for it…
I suggest that all ANTI-CSM meetings be closed with all members self-destructing their pods… Is it too early for those kind of jokes?

I'm more amazed how naive the OP can be to think that IG politics doesn't already extend beyond official CCP recognised platforms.

You've missed the crux of the arguement, how do you break the "cycle of life" in EvE without actually giving the engine more gas?
The Mittani merely happens to be a perfect bastard who has the ears, eyes, and hearts of a bunch of goons who MIGHT be able to pull it off... Sorry I've stepped on space cowboy without the ^tm

I respect your accurate analogy and reference to the Steve Miller Band coining the term "Space Cowboy".

I was more mocking Serene Repose and her "coolness" barometer... "Drag Steve Miller into it as though you're cool".

As if you were trying to name drop Steve Miller or his music to prove you were cool. So I had to try to be cool too and post a video I liked !

EDIT: Plus I guess I just don't find Steve Miller cool anymore. It's been overplayed to death in the US on the radio my entire life, so I've kind of become desensitized.

But, back on subject, yeah Mittens didn't invent the Space cowboy moniker.
