Balancing the Books (3 of 10) - stuck

Only been playing EVE for about a day but am stuck early on in assignment Balancing the Books (3 of 10). Mission wants me to go mining and refine some tritanium which I've done. Problem is I've been to all the asteroid belts in location "Jouvulen" and no pirates ever show up. I can't kill what doesn't show up and therefore can't complete the mission. Am I supposed to go somewhere other than the 4 asteroid belts to do the required mining? All I see are the asteroid belts. Can someone help? I know this is butt simple but some event in the game doesn't seem to be triggered and I'm guessing I'm in the wrong location. Thanks for any ideas you can give me.

I am not sure what you should do but if you make a petition (help (face) on the toolbar->create new petition) in the category 'Stuck' you should have an answer within 10 minutes usually.
The more info, the better your reply.

This is one of those missions that needs some serious rewording to make less confusing.

The location you are supposed to go to is not a standard asteroid belt in the system, but a specific deadspace location. I suggest opening your journal and finding what system it directs you to go to (it might not be Jouvulen). Once you are in the system, right click in space and look at the "agent mission locations" button on the context menu; then warp the "encounter" location that is listed there.

Thanks for your help - all the location says is "Jouvelen" which is an entire flipping solar system. So trying to figure out where to go within the solar system. Which is where my station happens to be in the first place - perhaps will exit the system then return to see if that helps...
