I hear they're furiously recruiting because of how elite they are. I think it was them with the month long siege of Space Monkeys Alliance. If only they had more elite pvp brethren, they wouldn't have had to run from the evil blobbing blobs of the clusterflock coalition.

In other news, I heard there was some moving about of the old BoB corps or something, so 5.0 is already preparing. Any year now we'll reach it's ~final form~.

While I do agree with you that most carebears are content to do their own thing and live under the illusion that if you can't see something it doesn't impact you, I think you would be surprised the groups that have been coming out of the woodwork to offer support against Goonswarm. Lots of people, including myself are actually interested in seeing Jita burn unhindered, yet at the same time it makes me wonder what kind of game we are playing where people would rather get out of the way of Goonswarm, rather than stand up to them.

Although Moar Tears often gets called "griefers" by virtue of being primarily a hisec dec alliance, any grief we might cause is purely through making ships explode.On the other hand, groups like Goonswarm's entire mantra is to ruin your game for you by any means necessary. I think many people have forgotten this fact based on the relatively "tame" Goonswarm that we have seen while Mr. Mittani was their CSM representative, however, in the future I think we should expect to see much more of the SA Goonswarm of the past. When I came into the game, the only group that you hated more than BoB/IT was Goonswarm.

The funny thing is you think blowing us up a few times and you think you have won. I just have to blow you up once and the resulting rage quit and emo post TELLS me I won.

I've had kind of a bad day. I haven't been getting much sleep, and got woken up after 2.5 hours of sleep by a newborn squalling at 3:30am. Since my alarm is set for 4am anyway I just gave up and got up. I tried t make my usual macchiato but I forgot to put in the grounds, so when I got out of my shower all I had was hot water stinking of old coffee so I couldn't even use it to make myself some green tea before I left. I thought traffic would be light, but for some reason it was backed up anyway at my usual onramp.

When I got to work my laptop was smelling of burnt plastic, and when booted, it didn't. So I had to pull the drive and slap it in another which had half the RAM and not all the same hardware, so I've been troubleshooting random Windows bs all day in addition to my job of troubleshooting random network bs. The bathrooms here are out of TP so I've been having to use the womens' room. At least it smells nice.

It's been raining all day, and the sun never even really came out.

THAT SAID now I'm just here to say Sugar Von MurderTits' name is the best name and I'm frankly very envious.

Once again thanks to everyone who has expressed interest in partaking in this event. It is time that we make news for doing something positive in-game rather than just another scam or another event which encourages griefing. To anyone who has ever wanted to fight back, but was unable to because they didn't have the knowledge, the skills, or the experience, this is your chance to get involved. Regardless of the outcome, the point will be made that we are no longer willing to sit around and wait for CCP to stand up for us and are ready to take control of the sandbox ourselves.

If you see this event and just let it go by without even a word then you lose the right to complain the next time Goonswarm decides to start a campaign against hisec. While there is a time and place for forum warrioring, this is a time for action, something that will speak much louder than any thread about how EVE is unfair.

Listen to this person, come in and have fun in something you don't mind losing, as per the old adage.

At least take rifters or rookie ships and play with the newbies. There might be a thunderdome with rookie ships if nothing's happening.


Just recently, someone 10boxed ibises against a newbie in a rifter. This was in between ops. The rifter won :)
