Hi all,

I'm trying to start the Syndication epic arc for Gallente. I've been and spoken to Roineron Aviviere in Dodixie, but whenever I speak to them they tell me that my standings aren't high enough. I thought that to start the arc my standings had to be 5.0 with either Gallente Federation or Impetus. My standings with Gallente are currently 6.90, and my Impetus is currently 1.30.

So I have 2 questions.....

1) What do my standings need to be to start this mission? I've started running lvl 2's for Impetus to try and get them up as well, but if I don't have to run those I'd rather not.

2) I'll be running it in a Domi, is this good enough, do I need more than just myself to do it? Or is it easy to run in a Domi?

+5.00 or higher Faction standing. If going with Corporation standing for access, the Faction standing needs to be above -2.00. The Epic Arcs can be redone every 3 months.

Sometimes the server needs to be updated after gaining the required standing. That can be done by logging out and then log back in.

You currently have plenty of Faction standing for access.

If it's been over 3 months since you last completed the arc or you've never done the Epic Arc before and have already tried a re-log, probably should file a petition in-game and ask for Agent mission to be reset.

I have never done the mission before and I have re-logged several times since getting above +5.00. Looks like I'll need to submit a petition then to be able to start this.

So how hard is the epic arc? Can I complete this solo in a domi or would I need help?

This is demonstrably false.


Epic arcs agents and COSMOS agents were NOT affected by the changes to "normal" agents brought in with Incarna.

That means that the old standings levels are still applicable for them.

Specifically for the Gallente Epic arc you will need to have a standing of at least 7.0 with either Impetus or the Gallente Federation.

(and probably but I have not checked - neither of those should be lower than -1.9999999)

QFT. 7.0 is indeed the minimum.

As for the difficulty of the arc.... Well, it's harder than normal L4 missions. I doubt a solo Dominix can tank Showtime, the last combat mission. Speed tanking apparently works well enough, but that thing pumps out a considerable amount of damage to start out.

well. as far as i remember my first time was 2xLAR Domi. Lvl4/5 support skills. And there was really difficult some times.. i used help of some guys from "Musketeer ..." channel (btw: they were really good guys).
Second time i used Gila with cruiser 5/5 skills and very improved drone skills. Finished it almost quite and easy. There was some "close to warp-out" moments but passive tank worked well.

btw: contact me when you started. Would be interesting to do this chain in group.

Did the Caldari Epic arc 2 weeks ago with a standing to Expert Distribution (Starter Agent Corp) of 5.3 (including Social skill) and a faction standing of 1.3 to caldari.

So 7.0 is not needed anymore (even the starter agents himself saying they just need a standing of 5 to talk to them)

And yet... the OP with standings of 6.9 cannot access his agent...

I will be in a position to test this in a couple of weeks or so. I wonder if there was enough muttering about the Caldari Epic arc agent that some dev went around and tweaked the requirements to access that agent (and only that agent). Stranger things have happened...

In any case - its one of those we need data moments.

Ummm, I'm not sure what demonstration you're providing but what DMC says is correct.

This is not correct. The correct requirements are like DMC posted above >5.0 in either faction / corp, providing that neither faction nor corp is -2.0 or worse.

I do not have >7 standings with either but recently accessed and completed this arc, amongst others.

As for the other poster's 'domi' question ... possibly, but it'd not be quick. The encounter missions on this arc are tougher (IMHO) than the minmatar and caldari equivalent, but not as tough as the amarr ... although an armour domi might cope better than my shield-tankers.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

I don't remember seeing any new DEV posts about another change to Agent standing requirements for access. Maybe there was a stealth change or I missed the notice listed in recent patches. Last I remember, this is how Agent access works.


The only Agents that were not affected by the Agent quality and standing change is the Faction ship offers listed here :

All other Agents will require a basic set amount of Faction or Corporation standing per Agent level for access. If going with Corporation standing to access Agents above level 1, the Faction needs to be above -2.00 standing.

Level 1 = Always Available
Level 2 = +1.00 Standing
Level 3 = +3.00 Standing
Level 4 = +5.00 Standing
Level 5 = +7.00 Standing

The only exceptions are Research and Cosmos Agents. Cosmos Agents only accept the basic amount of Faction standing for access. Research Agents require a set amount of both Faction and Corporation standing for access.

All Agents accept standings modified by the Social skills.
