Every mineral is due to rise with the drone region nerfs.

Mexallon will be the next (and last).

Drone regions have NPC that drop alloys. These alloys can be refined into minerals. They will be nerfed to only provide bounties. The market is busy adjusting to these effects.

So most manufactured items are going to rise rapidly in price to adjust? (Hadn't been watching, I guess I'll look at Hulk prices)

yes,but most manufactured stuff will lag behind in price for a few days (takes time to haul + build + haul).

It's still 75-80 in the outlying regions. Or was, as of this morning.

ISK/m3 values of the hi-sec / lo-sec ores:
Veld 146 Scor 134 Pyro 179 Plag 157 Omb 93 Kern 159 Jasp 195 Hemo 231 Hedb 231

The question is, will the current supply of Kernite being mined keep up with the Isogen demands? (Probably not.) How much of current Isogen supply came from the drone regions? (10%? 20%? 30%?)

What will happen is that if it goes above 120 ISK/u, people will start mining Omber again. Right now, it's considered a junk ore in hi-sec that nobody bothers to mine because it lags so far behind the other hi-sec ores in ISK/m3. So there's a lot of untapped supply which would be tapped if Isogen goes up too far.

Some folks need to warp (wrap?) Blink their heads around the "New World Order" here... Idea

Constant references to mineral prices based on Pre-Drone Alloy days, as a prediction reference, are crap.

1) There are more pilots, flying and losing more (and bigger) ships than ever before in EVE.
2) Consumption is bigger than ever.
3) Mineral from Loot is nowhere near what it used to be, as in Pre-Drone Alloy days when mission farmers would dump their loot on the Market every 12 hours, you could set your clock by them, it was that much of an industry.
4) Drone Alloys are about to get the Almighty Nerf Bat... subtitle for those playing along at home : "Second large non-asteroid source of minerals about to vanish, just like most mission loot".

Sit back and enjoy . Cool

That's all great, except for the fact that there's still no shortage of mineral belts that people (and bots) can mine if the prices are right. And they're about to surpass anom income if the current trend continues.

For the most part, I agree.

But, then, there's the one factor game mechanics can't address.. which bots did.

The "Can't Be Arsed" factor... people will only mine when the prices, as you say, are right.

Bit of a vicious cycle.

But then... CCP wins, too, when mineral prices rise and folks begin to resub / PLEX up those dormant miners. Blink

It's all fun and games until a mining laser pokes you in the eye. Blink

Sorry folks but you were trolled. At this time nothing has changed and those price movements are manipulations.

When the changes are commiong most affected are Zydrine and Nocxium.

They're a good starting point, nothing more.

Mining is way too dangerous. It's so similar to botting that any mining operation going on for a couple of months would trigger behavioral detection based bans.

You can get isogen from breaking up some npc traded items right now so they is a bit of a hard cap on it.

With ccp changes to rouge drones so more isk gets added and less minerals/items then prices must rise. i sure ccp "fix" will be to add more ways to make isk once the prices rise enough to allow people to pay the higher costs

Pax Amarria doesn't impact Isogen in quite the same way that it impacts Nocx, since you get far less of it and the amount you can get is much lower relative to isogen volume. It's there, it's just not as significant.

You just gank the bot. After which its behavior diverges rapidly from human.
