So a lot of 0.0 entities think those in empire need to htfu and move out. My question to them is, where are all the empire dwellers supposed to go?

Some answers

Most of them would love if you'd come out and "rent" space for rediculous amounts of isk. Were talking a couple bil for even the crappiest nonstation systems and the costs drasticly increase from there

Does that sound like something worth moving out to 0.0 for?

Next is NPC systems inhabited by station gamers that have 10 carriers docked up and ready to undock the second you agress their bahl. Unless you join an ~elite pvp~ corp you don't really stand a chance in lowsec. Lowsec isn't a place to make much money unless you're the ones doing the ganking, hence why lowsec is the way it is, its infested with pirates with not much to lose in terms of assets

Does that sound like something worth moving out to npc 0.0 for?

Next choice is you get to be pets/meat shields. You get to die for a block who will probably forget you're even alive. You'll get told your **** erry day because you're a pet, even your 'masters' will call you **** internally and constantly threaten to reset you if you don't lose every single asset you have in defense of their space

The has to sound promising, right?

So what else can ccp do to entice those in empire to move out? My thoughts were either increasing sov costs by multitudes after you've reached a certain amount of systems or introduce a huge amount of new 0.0

Your thougths?

Inb4 ~**** name **** corp **** alliance~ etc

CCP needs to get rid of sovereignty to make nullsec borders more dynamic. Ever since sovereignty, alliances have just dug in and and things have become more and more static. Soon, nullsec will just be one giant NAP and anyone new who tries to enter will be dogpiled by everyone else.

The current sov system is geared towards the defender, which allows AFK empires to squat on space they don't want, need or use. There are regions that you can literally auto-pilot through as a result. Power, projected too easily, with too many opportunities to project it across multiple regions within a blink of an eye.

If CCP loosens up sov contention by removing/reducing timers, then it might be possible to encourage people to "move to 0.0." Otherwise, it will simply be dominated by AFK botting/renting empires.

Since most of the changes discussed by the CSM or CCP involve a strengthening of the blobfests that you must have to even try to contend a system, nothing will likely change in the foreseeable future.

You should rent a place from this alliance called moonswarm or something... Heard they're having some troubles...

It's not that way already?

Some wars go on once in a while, or so I hear. Mostly just to burn all those trillions of isk they have nothing else to do with.

The OP forgot: "be forced to join some 2.30am alliance op about going and reinforce some boring crap 30 jumps away" (and then be hotdropped by a dozen titans).

TBH the only 0.0 worth playing in are WH and some 0.0 NPC space. The rest is about boot licking some high brass CAOD guys and be their little servants. Only a tiny minority are the great 0.0 corps like DR, with great comraderie, drunk FC leading to victory against huge odds, but you got to luck out to find those.

Industrialists are always welcome in 0.0.

In fact, you're probably safer down here than in highsec.

Thought there were idea's to make 0.0 more accessible to smaller entities that dont want to hold sov. Also make it harder for all the guys to hot drop capitals on you.

Yeah for WH space!

For 40M (less then a hour of play with a rather usuall fitted ahip) a month you can live in a -0.6 with 4 static heavens and 14 belts.
Renting alliance and no CTA's.
There's a corp there already but has 4 active members. I used to make about 5B a month never leaving the system and playing casual (plexes / escalations give extra nice isk)

Get out that hole and explore a bit. Talk to people. I bet there's a lot of places like that.

You could always make friends and allies

Once the corp I was in joined an alliance just to share a w-space system with another corp. Worked out great, and in fact, we saved their control tower when it was attacked and reinforced, by getting the alliance into the system, using our POS as a base for the defense effort, and providing the Basilisks we used for repping their shield. We also participated in all wars the alliance got into.

This relationship started with the same corp that owned the control tower we later saved forcing us to unanchor our control tower at gunpoint, and we were outnumbered. While it unanchored, we chatted, and got to know each other, and they invited us to the alliance. After joining we re-anchored the tower.

Forgot "Choice".

The prescriptive arrogance of some null seccers is also an offputting characteristic of the culture.

That would happen just before they were overwhelmed by the same shiny fleets they meet in highsec.
