I am a Christian but none of what you said makes any sense and if you really want the ultimate carebear experience, WoW is that way ---->

I hear they have priests and paladins, even!

I'm proud to admit that I'm gay. Why does your god hate me?

Is it really bothering you that all gods hate you?

There's still might be a way in...

Apparently most gods have their backdoor open for your kind, you just need to give them all and truly believe.

Obvious, but some people have still fallen for it. Next time try to make the religion more subtle, and tangential to the point that you're trying to make.

This game is advertised as being about backstabbing and disloyalty fool. Also yes, not everyone needs the promise of everlasting life to act morally in real life. Some people can just do it because we can think for ourselves and know it is the right thing to do.

Once again, the "sandbox" that's supposed to be "whatever you make it" becomes "the way it's supposed to be." Why are the barbarians the only ones saying this? EVE isn't adverstised as you say. That's how it's spoken about by others. If other activity prevails, it will then be spoken about in that vein.

Barbarians tend to push thing to a very low common denominator.

Disregarding the fact that you're obviously trolling I think it's quite funny that everything you listed happens to be the one and only reason that EVE's player base has actually grown every year since it came out, for a much longer duration than any other MMO.

Read the original EVE box from 2003 and tell me it was never advertised as that. I could throw down synonyms of ignorance but I'm not a total git.

And then people wonder why the Eve player base is not growing What?

If people dont have a moral compass, then we learn from history they can easily justify even genocide.

Tip for new players;

1) enjoy flying space ships and admire the beautiful Eve graphics,

2) Keep to a minimum your "so-called" Eve friends

3) Have plenty of RL religious friends (yes I'm proud to admit I'm a Christian) who believe in objective morality :)

It is the job of those who feel they have a compass to share to go out and to it. The largest failing in Eve is the victim stance of the industrialists, Mission Runners, Failed PVP's and now disenfranchised political minorities who instead of responding, decide to whine and lay over just far enough to protect their soft parts. If you hate the overall bullying, arrogance, sexism, racism and keyboard mayhem that a lot of the wanna be tough guys of Eve exercise in the sandbox, stand up to it! Do get revenge, do strike back, do plan, do forment revolt and intrigue, do keep those loyal close and do reward them, do infiltrate, do wage war, destroy, break, beat, and sow salt where your enemies flourish. Do form a corps that treat members well. Do get out of the NPC corps and raise new banners. Do be polite in local. Avoid using horrible terms to describe things and promote the same behavior in your peers. That is the game. Just don't be an ass while doing it. Nothing in the game demands bad manners.

I hear nothing in your post to make this a more dynamic game. All I hear is an opportunity to get on a religious soapbox that historically is ill suited to your position you are taking. Without having a wish to insult you, Christianity is perfectly suited as it is practiced in much of the developed world to the sandbox of Eve.

One must also ask.. what are you doing here in the first place?

If you believe in objective morality, you have no moral compass. By definition, you are not allowed to have a moral compass, because to have your own morality is to deviate from the extrinsic morality you express belief in.

If you hadn't gone and contradicted yourself so obviously I would have thought you were trolling, but since you were able to handily use your own argument against yourself, I'll settle for "actually believes what he's saying".

Oh but this is what makes EVE so great. Or this is what makes EVE such a old game that I find very fun have such a small player base. Take your pick.

I'm more weary of those who are afraid to show there faults ie most "christians".
This is coming from a catholic with many many many quams about why life exsists. Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

I recall one night in a nightclub called the matrix, there I was... Mother of god there I am! Holy f**k.
