So what you are saying is that CCP was able to sink a bunch of ISK out of the game?

Cool!

Nerfing High-sec is never the answer. It is the question. The answer is 'YES'.

It's a stupid way to get isk out of the game.

You don't have to flood the market with materials that should only be generated through gameplay to lower the isk supply.

This.

Before prices got speculated up this "cap" was fine.
Now you mad?

Or did you just not know about this until now? LolLolLol

Notice btw that I made no judgment call about artifical caps. I was just happy the pressure relief valves still work.

It's absolutely ridiculous to think that changing ISK into minerals with 0 gameplay effort is a "pressure relief valve". You don't know what you are talking about

Chances are it ends up adding to the ISK supply in the long run. Why go mine when you can buy some minerals at a fixed price? Might as well shoot rats and get more ISK, then you can get even more minerals. Doesn't take many people to supply all the Nocx Eve needs with this. So all those people that would have other wise been mining for nocx, are out shooting rats.

Amarrians don't like anything that isn't shiny.

Very interesting, I never knew that. But yeah, this could definitely use a fix. Hopefully they read it and just a short change to remove the reprocessing on the pax. Probably will analyze other forms of easy valuable minerals.

To quote Lfod Shi

The ratting itself is PvE. Getting away with it is PvP.

I do not think you know what you are talking about.

1 book = 6 noxcium. 10 books = 60. 100 books = 600. 1000 books = 6000. 10,000 books = 60,000. 10,000 books = 2 mill profit. approx after cost of book. how long do you think it takes to get 10k books?

How long it takes for you to click buy.
And then reprocess.
And then sell.
And you can buy what ever amount you want.

Tell that to all the people who mined veldspar when NPC shuttles were around.

There are a host of reasons why someone may mine over shooting rats.

The market price goes wherever production and consumption force it, and it shouldn't work any other way. We're moaning because regardless of drone region nerfs and bot bannings, nocx prices can't go up any further on account of an unlimited source of nocx. That flies directly in the face of CCP's stated goal to make mining worthwhile. It also makes for a terrible market to trade in-- restrictions on the market are restrictions in gameplay.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Rest assured, when CCP decide to do this, they will let the CSM know and the CSM will not tell anybody to buy up nocxium, no sir, that would never happen.

ATX: The best of the rest.
