I've noticed some of the alliances in null SBU their own systems. Now the questions :

- Can you anchor another SBU on the same gate ? If the answer is no, then :

- If you shoot the I-hub and they offline the SBUs, does it suddenly become invulnerable ?

- If you rf the I-hub and they offline the SBUs, does that reset the rf timer on the I-hub and makes it invulnerable ?

They are doing this to create an extra layer of sov warfare since you would need to kill their sbus before you can put yours down. Offlining them will render any stations or I hubs instantly invulnerable. If the ihub or station is reinforced and their sbus are onlined the station will become invulnerable instantly upon coming out of reinforce.

I was unaware that NPC corps could hold sov.

- No

- Yes

- No. But the Ihub becomes invulnerable once it's out of reinforce.

It's ******** that it's possible to do this, there is enough grinding in sov even without this extra layer.

You do realise that if station + ihub in a system are in RF then you cannot actually offline the SBUs until the first RF timer ends?

So if you really don't want them offlining their own SBU - bubble it, shove a small fleet on it, kill the person who comes to turn it off. You don't have to camp it 24x7, just start a little before the timer ends.

If you can't project enough force during the defenders prime time (assuming they got their timers right) then you have other headaches anyway beyond the SBUs.
