I am a returning player and decided to check things out by making a free trail. I am liking the way eve has changed and the new character I made. I want to play again and noticed the Power of two deal. Before I activate my old character is there a way to give this Pof2 to the trail character or do I need to start a new toon all over?

To use Power of Two offer, you must first have active paying account - not just trial account. Then you can use that offer to get another paying account which has 180 days of gametime.

So in your case you can't use it for your trial character and you also can't use it to get new character - unless you first activate your old account or upgrade your trial account.

Also if you do want to get Powef of Two (after paying for one of your current accouts) - be fast, since this offer ends 1st april (not sure if that means it ends during 1st april, beginning of 1st april, or at end of 1st april.)
