Single click sometimes registers as double click?

This happens to me fairly regularly. When I try to move the camera around with a single left click I will find my ship changing direction to the area where I depressed the click. It happens on planets while I am managing my PI as well; I will suddenly be focused on my command center with a single click.

I've noticed this only happens when I try to click, hold, and drag and then on the release of the button the double click will register. It's a very annoying problem and I have never had this issue while using any other program on my computer so I am 99.99% certain that it is not my mouse or other hardware. It also seems to happen at the worst times, like trying to orbit somebody in a frigate with a MWD active and then all of a sudden I'm far out of my weapons' ranges.

I'm open to any suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks.

This is an issue that has been plaguing me since the release of Incarna. First I thought it was just my mouse or software, but it doesn't matter what mouse I use. I click in space to view my surroundings or click on a mission npc and I find myself moving in that direction, this does get real annoying real quick .

Mice used that I have tested:

Ideazon Razer
Logitech G9X
Cyborg R.A.T. 7
Razer Lachesis
and a cheap-ass mouse found in an old box of junk

Note: This issue doesn't happen upon every login, and it doesn't usually start right off, but after an hour in-game it has a tenancy to rear its ugly head.
