I like to see it come out on PC but i think CCP has a plan for that just gotta wait an see what happens

I am not saying that it is not possible at any rate.. I just know that it would be a bad idea. Now or later the complex level of the game, the linking between it and eve, and the overall development would just be a nightmare to balance between all 3 (since it would be a huge task to balance the gameplay for PC AND Console and then link both to EVE on the PC.) It could technically all be done, but why when you could just make 1 platform really good.

Please look at the big picture and realize that making it for the PC or any other platform, now or later, would be a horrible idea.

It would be foolish in so many ways to bring this gam to PC. it would go against the whole purpose of bringing the two platforms together as they have been.

It is funny to see people cry though and wish for it to come to the PC. It will be fun to stomp them in DUST 514.

ITT: people who just heard about DUST and now sperg about wanting it on PC for some reason.
And also a few people who realize bringing it to PC is likely both undesirable and impossible.

Yes, I know. You can get a keyboard and a mouse for the PS3. It is foolish to assume all players will.

PC got the Elite Quality BF3. Let PS3 have the best Dust can give them. PC would also have the competing Planetside 2 to compete with which would be bad for Dust and Planetside.

I really look forward to the expansion to PS4. If it is straight from hard drive playable, then the boundaries are limitless. Not sure if you saw the fanfest discussion about dust, but for those that dont, here is my favorite piece of info:

Dust's architecture is modular and expandable. They can keep making maps bigger and allow more players as much as they can forsee. Current scale is only limited by hardware.

Personally, this is another precident that will be set by eve. The fact that a console game is upgradable. The potential for console players to be able to have their game become more invigorating as time goes on will keep a huge bit of player base. Just look how many people still like the original battlefield. The ability for having many new maps, the game to be improving and new things all the time will be just revolutionary.

here is the interesting thing. Any plug and play keyboard and mouse will work. Most players who get into dust will get one because that will allow interaction in the eve text chat channels and other advantages too for the out of game. Just plug, and play.
