The economy, faced for the first time with a sense of confidence and meaning, having lost all that weight, will finally muster up the gumption to go to a nightclub. There, the economy will meet a sweet young thing, dancing alone in the corner. They'll shack up for a while. Then the economy will get syphilis and die in a puddle of its own vomit in an insane asylum somewhere.

CCP implemented a massive RMT related banwave today. Accounts were banned, assets and isk seized, you name it. CCP being CCP they caught many a purportedly innocent player in the crossfire. CCP being CCP, they probably figured that innocent players would contest the bans and seizures, freeing them from the need to actually investigate deeper to see if it was actual RMT or not. CCP being CCP, they probably didn't realize that guilty players will also contest the bans, meaning they'll have to do all of that work anyway.

...

CCP being CCP, they'll probably leave the innocent punished along with the guilty. Lol

Whatever comes, it'll be better than having RMTers and botters all running amok and ruining the game.

LIkely, the easily botted and abused professions will become profitable for legit players to partake in.

Edit: I also seems likely that the inflation will slow down for a bit with removal of masses of ill-gotten isk.

Sreegs hasn't written his devblog about it. He may not, we'll see.

My prediction is PLEX prices will dive. People will avoid RMT and flood market with legitimately bought plex. Less isk in the ecomomy will possibly mean less demand and people trying to get their balances back in the positive will be converting gtcs into more plex.

Sorry, I know a bad investment when I see it, especially when compared side by side with Zydrine.
