CCP's Revenge: A fair warning to GANKERS!

I'm personally looking forward to the burning of Jita, its like seeing Wall Street on fire... however this may have many repercussions to ALL GANKERS, and it should

Lets be honest, Sec Status has a HUGE flaw, as long as you're in a pod you can go where ever you want, then you have your alt/friend orca your ships to you and its business as usual

PiratesPirate/GankersTwisted give little to no damn about sec status, cause it doesn't really effect them
ArrowThey can gank
ArrowLose a fail fit dessie
ArrowHave the alt/friend collect the loot
ArrowTake a sec status loss (Which doesn't matter since they can pod around where ever they want and be left alone)
ArrowRepeat until bored

In essence the penalties are null and void for pirates that know they can avoid the the Sec status penalty altogether, and unless someone has a very fast locking ship ready to scram the fleeing pods (or cares to do it) that pirate/gankers just waits out the 15 minute aggression timer and repeat (not like hes gonna get scanned down in a pod)

The Mittani said that he is gonna test CCP and see if they try to interfere, well NO that won't happen BUT just like insurance payouts for getting Concorded there are a variety of ways to do something that makes sense and not be accused of "killing EVE

1) Make it so outlaw pods get instant locked by anyone
2) Make outlaw pods light up like cynos would on scanners so that its effortless to find them (Bounties might actually matter again)
3) Just like neutral RRs, make the Orca that brought the ships get criminally flagged too
4) Have a 10-15 second delay for outlaws to dock at stations (Plenty of time to get a lock)
5)Keep you from setting up clones in HS
6) Concord should be able to kill -10 pods since this shows the player gives no damns
7) Instead of a random "You are a outlaw you aren't allowed message" it would say
"Player X has a (Insert bounty number here) isk bounty all citizens are required to kill him" (That would actually make bounties matter again

The way it is now, as long as you have a clean alt, you are never denied into HS and can buy what you need which nullifies the penalty a outlaw gets in regards to HS. This however would make being a outlaw a little more riskier and would make sense if you look at it from a sandbox/game mechanic point of view

This doesn't stop gankers in anyway, you can gank to your hearts content, but now there are actual risk involved... risk that the players dictate instead and not CCP

If a gank happens after the Orca docks, the docking orca should be ejected back out of the station

Again, if someone wants to gank, be my guest, but it should a gank worth losing a Orca

Its more addressing the ganking issue as a whole and saying Goons Jita Burning would probably make CCP pay attention to the whole ganking thing and balance it out

Of course these hypothetical changes you're fapping about would be a tremendous inconvenience to us once we leave to go back to the land of milk and Dread Guristas rats.

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.

Guess not having a FC tell you what to do kept you from reading this

What's this? An NPC corp player made a thread about goons? This is new and exciting.

So this makes gankers actually have to weight risk and reward... hmmm not a bad idea at all

Hell it creates content, curbs ganks (which are a bit out of control now), and best of all doesn't stop anyone from doing what they did before.

Love when the playing field get evened

EDIT: Make it so that we can buy/sell kill rights and we have a dealBig smile

Good ideas! I might actually want to be a pirate if there was risk in it. Being a pirate truly sounds Really Lame as it is.

I recall one night in a nightclub called the matrix, there I was... Mother of god there I am! Holy f**k.

They should just make you all bloody invulnerable and be done with it.

No possible way to exploit ever.

This game needs more ganking, not less.

High secuity has gotten far too complacent.

Again this doesn't stop gankers from ganking, just levels the playing field.... unless you're afraid of things shooting back at you

Being a eve miner isn't very rewarding, and seeing them get ganked with no risk (yes if you don't care about sec status and can freely go where you want in a pod, only to jump in a orca dropped ship later its no risk) makes me wonder how they come back for more (A lot don't).

However I can understand why the null boys don't want this changed, they like unfair advantages (Hence the reason why most of your kills come from blobs/gate camps/or overwhelming numbers) so having the playing field evened a little (or at least giving the person you shot a chance to respond) is scary

Why not just have the pods self-destruct sequence start automatically as soon as a -10 player enters his pod in high sec? Problem solved.

I think a much better solution for -10 players is to bill them for a year and serve bans from game.

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

No whining, as I said many times gank you your hearts content, but there should be a risk to ganking; a way for players "return the favor"... I know you're a nullbear (feeling scared without your blob and FC) and only like unfair fights... but this gives a more level playing field while allow the players to govern themselves

According to this: http://www.evenews24.com/2012/03/30/prime-intel-non-garmonation-exploits/
CCP is getting rid of the Orca pirate trick all together (congratulations gankers)
This idea would have at least allowed you to do that still, except that it would allow the players to blow up Orcas Sad

And the Boomerang Maneuver is gone too, so I guess my advice is to keep ganking till its taken out completely, then you can ***** about how EVE isn't eve anymore and how everyone will quit even though ganking is probably responsible for the most rage-quits/unsubs

For PvP and like to encourage more of it?

Want to validate a potential Career path in EvE with new income potential that is ideally designed as simply a transferance of ISK from one pilot to another?

Actually like situations where ships shoot back and "really" improve your KB resume?

You agree that pilots should adapt to challenging situations in EvE where acceptance of risk is an everyday seperator of those getting ahead on the curve?

Or simply want to make EvE less boring?
