Perhaps it's the carebear in me, or the genuine belief in good people, but I'd just like to say that I don't think there is a material benefit to any of the parties involved at this point in carrying on about what happened at fanfest and the RL consequences of what happened there

A determination of what happened has been made, consequences have been identified for those actions and it's been handed out to the respective parties to be dealt with

The offending party is going to do the time for the crime as it were and be as rehabilitated as he's going to be when he comes back. Probably not make the same mistake ever again in his life given all the RL consequences a bunch of internet crazies have caused to him and his family (and the dog). Harassing someone who was encouraging harassment doesn't make it right

I think that the only thing that all of these postings is doing is turning off potential folks to come join us in our internet spaceships and turning stomachs of alot of players

So, what I propose, is to just stop at this point. Let's cool down. Perhaps let things run it's course a little bit. Get back into the pods, play with our spaceships and have CCP take us all out for some ice cream to just chill, enjoy and actually be civil and respectful toward each other in our discourse.

I vote for donuts!!! There's an awesome place called the Donut House in Anacortes, WA. Or perhaps since this is internet spaceships, we should dedicate our patronage to Rocket Donuts in Bellingham, WA.
