Why would you post this rather than profiting from the information yourself?

It becomes interesting at a price of 610isk/u for the Noxcium.

Matter of volumes essentially, it is hard to find a station with hundred of thousands books Smile
Books take twice the volume of the minerals and seems to come by 3300. It is surely interesting if Nox climbs very high but will require a lot of dedication Ugh

Depends, if they get wind of this, probably at the April 24 patch.

Regardless of available volume I do not think that CCP would want to nerf this.

Why?

It is an ISK SINK.

You buy Pax Amarr and isk goes out the system. Ok Nocx and Iso get added - but ISK exits the system

yeah, this isk sink is such a good idea that they'll probably add MORE npc trade goods so that trit, zyd, and evrerything else are capped at prices under market demand! I mean, they could totally obsolete mining and make people focus 100% on pvp and mission running spaceships!!

I did not suggest that Pax Amarr should be the way to get Nocx, Iso.

However - current prices are not the long term norm - nor indeed pre drone Nocx price.

What I meant is I do not think CCP would think that now IS the time to remove such an ISK sink...

I would expect them to remove it in future.

I would also like to remind pmchem that NPC goods normally are very price sensitive with respect to volume.

You're probably too young to know this, but Trit used to be capped at 3.6 per unit.

Plus, it's an isk sink, but it also interferes with their stated goal of improving mining. Considering that Nocx is basically the top dog ore in lowsec, they can't leave it capped if they want to have a prayer of encouraging mining in lowsec.

I did not know about the 3.6isk cap.

Pax Amarr has some features which i did petition when my database told me to buy it and after I did a feasability study.

I still have not received a reply from CCP so I informed they I will continue buying. Now the cat is out of the bag.

I do not think it is good for the game, or any other market distortion.

But atm it may not be one they are in a hurry to remove....

Technically, yes it is an ISK sink, but it encourages ISK faucet use at the expense of mining. If minerals can't rise in price enough, then why go mine, might as well shoot rats and add more money to the system. Just a few people could sustain the entire Eve economy at these prices, all those people not mining are going to be doing ... what?

This is essentially a subsidy for everyone that does not mine Nocx, if you want to look at it at from a different perspective. It's things like this that are partly responsible for the Eve economy being in a rather curious predicament.

Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.  - William Pitt
