Hi. Welcome to EVE. Tell us about yourselves. How do you like dev'ing? What kind of stuff do you work on? How long have you been with CCP? In the gaming industry?

I see what you're doing here.

Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either.

Giving CCP a chance to engage in the community in a casual way? While hopefully also encouraging CCP to follow through on their promise to refocus? And hopefully get a little bit of feeling for what we can expect out of EVE? Is that what I'm doing here?

[deleted my thread because I am so over this constant CCP bash/whine/troll/anghst - whatever you want to call it.]

This one isn't an attempt to bash... it's an attempt to help the new devs feel like they are a part of EVE. I know, I usually bash, and I'm extremely cynical, but most of it's directed at management and how much noodles they suck. I'm really hoping we'll get some devs from the other projects over here to post and introduce themselves, even if it's a "looking forward to be working on EVE, can't say what we're doing" kind of response.

No troll, promise.

This little thing called a posting history... kinda gave you away.

Who said they are actually moving people from other projects to Eve? All thats been stated(at least that I've seen) is that they are planning to re prioritize things. That doesn't actually mean they will be shifting staff around.

Weekend's over, so I just want to greet the new devs who are showing up to work now. And seriously... not trolling. Yes, I hold a grudge against specific devs, and the crappy management decisions that we all (devs included) have had to deal with, but just wanted to say greetings any devs transferring over. Welcome. Seriously, EVE needs you.
