New anomaly set?

Hi,
Jumped into a 0.4 system in Metropolis, scanned, found 4 anoms:

Minmatar Facility
Minmatar Outpost
Minmatar Minor Outpost
Minmatar Major Outpost

THese were the only anomalies in system - all gated...

I jumped into the Major Outpost to find a few frigs & cruisers and a "Minmatar Outpost" structure which appeared to be heavily repping the rats.

I flew to within about 20km of the structure, intending to blow it up, but I got a Concord message basically saying my ship would be blown up if I tried.. Could be a scam I suppose, but I wasn't about to risk it.

The interesting thing was that the Outpost suddenly grew a Progress Bar entitled "Contested". But it didn't seem to progress...

Anyway that's all I got as far as, before a blob jumped in so I GTFO'd.

Can anyone provide any more info? There's diddly on Google etc. for these anomalies which I suspect are pretty new.

Players enlisted in Faction Warfare orbit the button until the bars fill. Once enough sites are run, the system changes to vulnerable and they get to shoot a bunker, which is like shooting a POS. Their entire reward for this is the name on the top left of the screen changes to reflect the new owner. :D

They're revamping faction warfare in Inferno. They haven't mentioned too much of what's going to be included or done (mums the word) but they're doing something to make it more fun. As they say in all the info about inferno, they're doing 'something so your choices seem to matter'
