CCP - Be prepared for ALOT of Unsubs - JITA GANKS

If goons or anyone else that wanted to were prevented from doing things like this I would quit because EVE wouldn't be EVE any-more.

I am a care-bare industrialist but I appreciate the fact that this is what makes the sandbox work, if you suddenly started controlling what players did to this extent what is the point.

I think that CCP and most players are probably looking forward to seeing how all this plays out and I am sure its events like these that get a lot of people interested and trying EVE in the first place. The fact that these things can happen and its not like every other cookie cutter themepark MMO out there.

Wimping out is the best bet for Goons about Jita at this time

It speaks volumes. Yea, 2 isn't a good sample but they didn't say something like "DAMN RIGHT JITA WILL BURN!@ JUST YOU WATCH!"

Instead they talk about how people's impressions of them doesn't matter. That sure sounds like the beginning of an ass-covering.

Sorry we're too busy losing Titians in Tenal to respond to EVERY thread. Also the OP here is the reason we need neg rep!

Can you not see that goonswarm really is trying to ruin eve and not as darius johnson stated trying to ruin a players game. Cos ruining a players game, makes them wanna quite, hence ruining eve as a game and product...

I mean they have grown so big that they now pretty much can control eve in anyway they want... First Ice Miners, plus other stuff and now this...

not sure i want to play a game where one alliance can control a whole game, when they want and how they want with pretty much no consequence. They lose 100 hurricanes, so what..their trillions in the stupid amount of moon good they get just keeps the constant churn going.. They could do this everyday for a year and have no problem doing it...crazy aint it...

Oh and "one alliance controlling a whole game" -how do you reconcile that with a temporary event in a single system? Exaggerate much?

This is probably what will happen except it wont be for just a day. Having been hellcamped into station (pr-) by goons myself i can tell you it will take weeks for them to get bored, more if Mittani gets his motivational talks right. Even if they aren't getting many kills they will keep it running, probably sending out roving fleets to gank in other places like amarr or motsu or wherever the nearest incursion is to keep people interested. Many of them will be making isk on an alt back in null at the same time anyway.

And nobody is FORCING anyone to trade in Jita. Only knuckleheads deal with THAT system TBH. I have not had a need to go there in over a year.

If this sort of thing is going to make you or something else unsub. They were playing the wrong game any how. High sec does note equate to safe. It's just "safer" you still need to be careful and protect yourself. Unsub away if you're not ok with that. It's here to stay.

It's been Pirate central for years.

How does putting all the "pirates" in one alliance change anything?

Sorry but the scam is on Goones and Test. They think they can lock down Jita. Years of undock scanners, they are just another brick in the wall.

I vry rarely post, but this caught my eye...Now I've been playing for, um, a while...and been in high sec,low sec and null...in all this time...the goons have never tried to ruin the game....they do what they say on the tin...if you are continually getting hassled by them (in game) then either fight them or move - its not like theres no where else to go. As far as Burn Jita to the ground goes...bring it on...normally i try to avoid getting ganked ...by not icemining while they are on a iceminer blitz..simple...and i dont lose me ship...plenty of other stuff to do.....but im gunna build a few throw away fits...get cls to Jita and hopefully get blown up a bit...it shld be a bloody good laugh.....even more so if CCP turn off CONCORD in jita for the duration and maybe jump a Sansha incursion fleet in on the goons :).....

After all the 'goons' are just players like everyone else....i mean are you deliberately gonna waste your time trying to destroy a game your playing ???.....seems like a amazingly stupid thing to do, as your paying for it...and its not gunna work anyway. If you think the goons control the game....then tell them they've forgot about me.....i assure you they make no diff to anything I've done in the last...6-7 years.

And as others have said...just avoid Jita...I do...as its a bloody nightmare at the best of times...even without anybody shooting things.
