The new DED 1/10 and 2/10 **PLEASE READ THIS**

Hi pilots

I'll try to be brief about what i think it should be a top priority for CCP to fix next patch

Solo pvp isn't dead, it's just too damn hard to find...but...we still had some pockets where this could be found and a little bit controlled to not be suprised by a gang of bigger ships.

A lot of those fights happened in the static DEDs, why? Well first of all it only accepts frig or dessies sized ships, second, one have to warp to the beacon then warp in the accelaration gate to get inside which gives time to react if a gang is incoming...sometimes ( as frig fights tend to be fast ) gives time to kill the target before the backup arrives. It's also a viable source of income in the case of the serpentis 1/10s or the angels 2/10s

So i'm here to beg to CCP to take a deeper look at this, and fix what i'm going to point

Make those new low level DEDs static and spread them out in low sec, just like Molden Heath, make some pockets that can have 3 or more DEDs no very far away from each other, so that solo frig pilots can race them, fight for them, learn from them, basicly giving us an oportunity to have fun, when our goals are far from being a part of an alliance, or those who just dont have time to be more than a couple of hours online but still love the game

They dont have to be extint from exploration, keep them probable so that one can also find them through exploration, but look at dead areas of low sec, and place some statics there ( gallente low sec for example needs them ) this said, i also think that the reverse should be done aswell, send the statics that are already in game also to be explored. mainly the pithi and coreli ones

AFs, faction frigs use these modules a lot, make the quest for them, to be done in those ships, as it is was with the coreli c-types and gisti b-types, we will sure have our fun fighting for those plexes and items

Also fix the ones that are messed up, like the timers in those pithi 2/10s ( the 3h spawn just makes them easily to be farmed by those that control the timers...if the timers are reduced to something closer to the 2/10s of angel, it opens more oportunities to the casual pilot ). When i lived in next to tama, those 3 DEDs that are in hasmi, naga and oto were being controlled by a corp only because a 3h timer spawn for the overseer was just too easy too control

Molden Heath is one of the best examples out there of how this should be done, a lot of solo pvp happens in there, in frig sized vessels, mainly because of those 4 DED plexes in the area

Make this change and you will see as the casual solo pilots will more nomad, visiting often other areas of eve, spending some days in blood space to gather a couple of corpii-c nosfs and then moving a week to serpentis to refill the supply of coreli ABs for its fits...these will also make those that live in those areas, to have encounters with new pilots too

Please CCP, believe me it is a small change that will change A LOT the lives of the pilots like me. I am sure i'm not alone on this

No, they should move all the static complexes into the probing system to stop those silly farmers.

Also what ppl do with those static complexes in lowsec is effectively use them as arenas and i think that's very unlike eve.

No, they'll just buy them off contracts from one of the people that farms the statics 23/7, like they're doing now.

If you want a ship, you buy it from an industrialist who got the ore from a miner. If you want faction mods, you should buy them from an explorer. And camping static sites is not exploration. Sad

I don't buy any gisti b-type mods ever...cause i get them from those 4 DED in MH or better yet, loot them from some kills i get in those "arenas"...as their timers are short and thus difficult for 1 to control...ppl who run them tend to use those modules instead of use them only in pve safe ships.

The idea of "arenas" i personally like as i usually log for a few and if im alone, a like to have these spots where i hope to find single targets in a specific sized ship

i agree with St Mio on 1 thing, if i want a ship, ill buy from a industrialis, that bought the ore from a miner...well yes...OR...you mine /buy the ore, and build the ship yourself, right

It's an open world, it's all about skills...and the casual pilot still exists in eve, im one of them...i have killed and got killed a LOT in the angels 2/10, serpentis 1/10s, and had some of the best frig fight i've ever had in this game..

Farmers are a issue, but you can face them, IF you have a chance to do so...i tried in nagamanen pocket against some russian corp ( which i became friends after fighting them so much )...but those 3h timers were just IMPOSSIBLE for someone that has a RL to compete...on the other hand the 4 plexes around heild, due to the shorter timer made it much easier to compete against the farming

Moving all static to exploration will kill more low sec...specially cause those 1 and 2/10s will spawn in stupid high sec where already are some of the most profitable plexes ( since the introduction of T3s cruizer sized DED mod are more valuable than BS ones ) risk free
