Unpossible. A pubbie can never turn away from the beaten path, just like a puppy can never turn away from a pizza.

I will put bets on that many newer players will just stop playing and probably unsub.

WRONG. Most new players know what this game is all about. You apparently do yourself. If you don't like it don't play.

And yes, I AM an Industrialist, but you are WIMP.

Also, some Masss Attack for you:

"Ohh poor silly goon chillrens. Nobody in high sec cares about your plans to occupy jita like a bunch of dirty hippies.

Bring your worst, fool yourselves into acting like you really accomplished something and the general population will shrug you off like they always do and the only ones who will remember will be you as you circle jerk each other over it again and again.

At this point you guys are exposed and not in a good way. The ZomgZ fear reflex you wish to instill has been supplanted by lolz and once you go down that street, like walking into the woods with a stranger, you ain't coming back.

YOU...need some MASS ATTACK quotes as well:

"High sec so doesn't care, that they can't even be bothered to come and tell you directly how much they don't give a ****.

There isn't anything left for you to do to them. You've shot your wad, sorry. Go, kill them some more. They're like fungus or bacteria, they won't die and they won't stop. All you have to show for years of organized harassment campaigns against them is ... nothing. The only people that care are you guys, who hype up your own "achievements" amongst yourselfs and add some arbitrary and irrelevant level of importance to it. "

Why would he let you, that is the question. Anyone who dies in JIta after a months warning is either a) trying to make some profit out the situation and taking a risk or b) an idiot. Nobody has to go to JIta, it is not a requirement for anyones game. Even if it was people will still be able to get in and out of 4/4 simply by having an insta undock and a cloaky like always. The opportunities for stealing loot and getting on killmails will be enormous.

And the whole new players thing is crap. New players have no idea Jita is even the trade hub for a start, they mostly buy from local markets. T1 frigs and cruisers will be extremely far down the target priority list and are best equiped to not get ganked in the first place anyway, so even if noobs do wander into Jita they probably wont die. Knowing how eve works some will think the whole thing is amazing while some will pick up an officer mod or something and get stupid rich.

Apart from anything else goons are the organisation responsible for bringing more new players into the game than any other (how many hi sec corps pull people into the game like test/goons do?) and the whole Jitaburn thing will be an enormous recruiting tool for them. You will see dozens of baby goons there in their rifters doing the little jobs like grabbing loot, killing pods and concord pulling, brings a tear to the eye tbh and i amn't even a goon.

How dare you tell someone they can't go where they please. Just because it's a multiplayer game doesn't mean they should have to think ahead, worry about non-consensual interactions with people he doesn't know/like, or learn how to avoid being a victim in general.

He pays his sub money every month, so he's right to demand that CCP change the rules to disallow anyone interfering with his little world, or creating game content he doesn't support.

That is wrong. They can be active in High in less than 72 hours with a -8.

With -10, they just come into High in Pods, and warp to an Orca to grab a Thrasher.

So no. They are technically NEVER unable to come into High.

Them's the facts.

If you are right, then CCP will have proven that the "cold, harsh, world of EvE" was a bad plan. Personally, I doubt it will come to that though, even though I don't agree either with some of CCP's stances on things. Player freedom isn't one of the things I disagree with, though.

It's fine, they contribute to stimulate the mineral market.

As long as they don't recycle alts to go around the sec statut penalty...

Worse-case scenario, they manage to make Amarr or another major trade hub grow bigger than Jita.

How could a MMO design that lasted 14 years be "a bad plan".

1. Don't go to Jita during the action if you don't want to be killed.

2. There are good market systems in the game other than Jita. Use them.

3. The Goons do have a right to play inside the game the way they want, just like everybody else.

4. Control of Jita is not control of the game.

5. Goonswarm has enough enemies in the game that their action will certainly meet with counter-action.

6. Upcoming changes to the game will make the life of new players a good bit easier.

7. New players are most affected by ganking outside Jita; the people who use Jita are usually older players who know about the market. My newbie corp experience certainly indicates this to be true. And even then, they have to learn that this kind of sudden death possibility is part of the game.

You're not really asking for anything in your post. What do you expect CCP to do? They've said over and over again that non-consensual pvp, including suicide ganking, is part of the game.

Goonswarm has big interests in null sec to protect, so they can't devote all their resources to making life miserable in Jita forever.

Almost ten years that we have had going now (and mind you eve is dying each year) + the 5 that you predict. Either that or the dude has been time traveling again.
