Hey! Im doing lots of sansha anomalies lately and im having issue that if i zoom in im getting blind with brightness, some objects have glove like close up sun / star. So only way to do them is zoomed out, this way i cant manually navigate my ship, not to mention i cant enjoy close and personal feeling of seeing my ship in action.

Maybe there is simple solution for that that i dont know.

Try playing around with the graphics settings ingame? I dont know, might be worth a try.

The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long - and you have burned so very, very brightly..........

I have often the same problem, it's very annoying.
If you find a solution please let me know...

Do you have HDR turned on? If yes, try with it off.
Otherwise yes, gaseous environmental clouds & the Domain nebulae at station undock are way, way too bright.

I've had this issue since I started playing EVE in Tyrannis, and I don't think it's a bug at all. No matter what the graphics settings are, it remains the same. The bright coloration is on the base textures. Also, some of the floating white text needs a dark background so it can be seen over those white clouds.

But most importantly, missions shouldn't occur within or right next to gas clouds that are as bright as or brighter than the sun!

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."

quite strange, yes. apart from the brightness issue (i often can't see **** in one of the combat ladars), it seems to put a nice stress on the graphics card - mine will start cranking up the fan quite audibly.

Had my first experience of this the other day. Doing the blockade and warped in to the mission, and suddenly had my screen brilliant white. Just had the camera in the wrong position which put me right into a cloud! Bit of repositioning and it was fixed. Funny how its never happened before until i read this post!
