I'll humor a bro.

I locked the shuttle and my guns began to blaze. Concord appeared from the void and sent but one statement through my comms: "Klaatu barada nikto"

Banana-Republic.

Several things happened at once; the shuttle exploded, my ship exploded, and I realized the jibberish over comms probably meant 'you're gonna die', or something.

You guys are no fun. Blink These chain writing things can be pretty interesting, if they get some momentum going. The question is, how long will it go until:
a) Some troll wrecks it with some sarcastic post; or
b) Some inconsiderate arse selfishly does his own thing and takes the whole plotline off-track; or
c) Some enthusiastic geeber throws in some drivel that wrecks everybody's inspiration. Usually, it's some juvenile overly heroic fantasy thing, like "Torch Dragonsinger shouted 'Die!' and jerked the dual triggers. His blazing autocannons opened up and the pirate frigate exploded into a thousand pieces."

These chain fiction things never turn into a real story with a coherent plot, but some of the ideas and atmospherics can come out of them.
