This is funny because you're from the School for Applied Knowledge.

Perhaps you should apply some to your posting?

You did what you thought was right in banning Mittens and removing him from the CSM. Now do what's right in ensuring I'm not disenfranchised by your actions.

Your math is suspect little Bee, as well as your deposed Queen.....Lol

Based on claimed subscriptions, that's about 2.5% of the population in EVE, so I ask again, did you really believe a bunch of alts would make you kids all powerful?

You might want to re-check your maths. The Mittani got 17% of the votes. It is a small slice of the population, true. But if you read what SmilingVagrant said it was "17% of the active voters" Active implies to me they voted and did not stay inactive.

Wrong. They are going to come to hi sec to play with all the little people who they feel insulted by. Glad I don't live in hi sec, personally.

If goons made hi sec unplayable CCP would end up buffing concord or something lol...

They would do nothing but HELP the carebears... in the end...

That being said... what they gona do gank hulks/macks again? lulz.

What about a system wide hellcamp? Say for instance, Jita? Image what that would do to EVE's already crippled economy.

nothing ?

It was an idiot question: You can't hellcamp low or highsec. I don't know why he brought it up.

Ever heard of empeachment.....

To be brutally honest he´s lucky he still has an account, now grow up, i thought gooms were smart and like to point and laugh at people who took internet games too seriously, so why all the drama?

You may want to read the rest of the thread where different approaches to this situation is discussed. Not everything revolves around the concepts the United States of America uses.

Last I heard, CCP was claiming 400,000 subscribers, 10,000 would be 2.5% of that.
And yes I read it, you can put political spin on anything to make it seem important, but 97% of the population could care less about your poor deposed Queen.

I wonder how many he would have gotten if CCP instituted a one year minimum age for voters?

How about it CCP, can't really fix it now, all those Alts have already been bought.
What you should have done is required all subscriptions that wanted to vote be older than 1 year, and the account active during the entire year preceeding it.
At least then we might have had a possibility of a non-rigged election that couldn't be easily bought with Moongoo.

Still wondering what happened to the Goons Forum Champions? The really loud ones seem to have all disappeared at the same time? Something up? Cool

They want a recount to stick one of their own into the top 7.

mittens only received a total of the 3% of the active accounts in eve online. That being said i dont think many will care if he is gone or not.

BUT there are other candidates the votes should be re-done to other candidates

Not mine, sorry to disappoint. I am not a Goon and have no desire to join SomethingAwful to become one. You are missing the key point - people are talking about the VOTERS. Not those that chose not to vote. That is where the 17% number comes from.

However, if you look at it over characters instead of voters then yes, the percentage is much lower although none of us know the actual subscription numbers. But they do not care enough to vote so what happens in the vote does not impact them. Ignore them.

man the low intensity thinking of the goons sometimes amazes me, but still, all this moaning is what goons want to provoke in others, IRONY?

Attributing motive like that makes me think your name is either appropriate or you are just trolling. I am not a Goon. I did not vote for The Mittani or any Goon. I voted for T'Amber on all my accounts bar one, because I liked his policies. And one went to Issler for promising to focus on conflict in EVE Online.

However, I believe with the removal of a member of House (CSM) by CONCORD the current CSM is invalid and does not have a mandate anymore as 17% of the voters have lost their candidate. I would personally like to see a re-run and would vote for the same candidates as before; but I do not like to see a scenario where such a large percentage of the vote is wasted.

That seems fundamentally unfair to me, irrespective of who the candidate is. I do not hold a grudge against the Goons nor will I discriminate against them simply for who they are and what they represent.

Yeah the thoughts of non voters is immaterial. It doesn't matter what they want. And they have no interest in how the game is run beyond what is directly in front of their noses at any rate.

He's using idiot fuzzy math and logic to attempt to skew a result to sound less favorable to his side of the argument. It's not a matter of that huge percentage of players not caring about The Mittani. That huge percentage didn't care about the CSM as a whole. Thus their views on what is going on in the CSM right now is irrelevant.

Attributing motive? what post are you reading? , its a comment on thought processes not motivation and an observation of the goons displaying what they like to provoke in others which they have amply demonstrated in the past many times over.

TOS read it, he´s kucky to still have an account, you cant rewrite the past just live with it, Mittens removed himself by his actions, its quite simple, now stop trying to troll me and the community.

I hate people that pull this passive aggressive **** in forums. You could honestly ban The Mittani for life from eve and it wouldn't affect our alliance one bit. But this is neither here nor there. This thread isn't about whatever grudge you have with him. This is about 10,000 voters losing their voice. Even if you removed the Goonswarm Federation from the table that still leaves you with 4000+ voters that aren't being heard anymore, assuming every member of our alliance voted (Hahahaha I doubt we even got 60%)

I'm not entirely sure that there is another Goon in the running, and if there is he likely isn't the kind of person that could garner the respect of 10,000.

Not saying we don't have people like that: Just none of them ran.

That is well said. It is not about Goonswarm and people should not let their dislike of the Mittani or the Goons cloud their judgement on what has essentially become a tainted election. No disrespect to the current CSM; I do believe you will all get in again on the same merit you got in on before.

But I would like to put this whole mess behind us and move on with a CSM that has been elected by all the people that care enough about EVE and the direction it is going in to vote. Until that happens, I can't see the CSM as legitimate or representative of the people that vote. In no electoral system would you remove 17% of the voters and still see the governing body as being representative. It is just simply unfair - and people will see that if they remove their anti-Goon blinkers.

P.S. You guys did have another candidate, Lyris Nairn Skycaptain of our hearts. Placed second from the bottom or somewhere around there with a number of votes for her avatar P
