He made it up to make himself look like a victim. Nobody buys it any more than they buy his phony apology and accusations of being crucified by the oh so evil gaming media and CCP.

He never said that they kicked his dog. He pointed that out as one of the more ridiculous threats he's received over this.

I don't care about this person in real life any more than I care about any other criminal in real life. When this continues to expand because people "such as yourself" cannot grasp the severity of the transgression and attention is received by the agencies with legal jurisdiction, I guess you will just label that as harassment as well. You can roll your eyes and herpderprage all you want but the fact remains what he did was 1) illegal and 2) demeaned the Eve community.

The only appropriate response of anyone directly associated with this clown is abject embarassment. But, as previously mentioned, these are concepts none of you seem to be mature enough to grasp.

Well, in all fairness that's what many people were accusing The Wis of doing.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Mittani and his family have received RL threats though, which is just sad.

That should probably be reported to CCP and local law enforcement though, not a bunch of gaming nerds on an internet spaceship chat forum.

You are allowed to have your opinion. I'm allowed to have mine. My opinion is his apology and CCP action was orchestrated as the real attitude and opinion of mit is evident in follow up communications along with a twatter overload where this is all some big conspiracy and doesn't have anything to do with any actual misconduct.

When you are sorry for something you have done, this thing called remorse is present. Now, you can't wear it around your neck or iron it onto a T-shirt, it's just this kind of intagible thing. Basically, you can't fake the funk of remorse. I expected a better attempt at fake-remorse but the blatant inattempt to even pretend heaped on with unwarranted self-confidence and bravado just further inflames the issue.

You cannot go from saying "Deal with it" to "Oh I am so sorry for what I did" and then start behaving in a sequence which is back in tune with the "Deal with it" attitude. The only thing he is sorry about is what this has cost him, not what he did.

In all fairness, quit twisting the issue around. The Mittanni went on a world wide Official CCP live video stream feed and asked players to harass another player in game with the intention to induce that said player to commit suicide.

Now if it's true that The Mittanni is receiving hate mail, threats of killing his dog and being barred from work, it should be very easy to provide proof of that, if not then it's exactly what I stated :
