ironically if the goons would walk away from the issue and ignore it people would get bored and leave it alone as well.

this is the same tactic that goons have used on many other issues in the past, they keep pushing the subject when people are there and let it die when the affected parties walk away.

I am not sure it counts as hypocrisy if you do something to someone who has openly defended doing such things to others, as long as you do not do it to someone who did not do so.

It does count as doing something because "he started it!", though. And that should have stopped working as an excuse when people graduated from kindergarten.

We should be talking about how to lessen the verbal harassment culture in EVE in general, not paying it back.

Which point?

That he made a fool of himself and is now willing to blame everyone else?
That anyone with a legal background and years of experience would know better than to say something that tactless in front of a live video feed?
That he (Self pronounced King of the Metagamers) has apparently been out Meta-gamed by other players, and is upset about it?
That CCP would do anything other than what it did, considering the press it was receiving?


I could really care less about the outcome, because the whole thing is just too halarious for words.
I could care less about Goons and Mittani other than to annoy them in game. I find it very amusing in my spare time, but to see this epicly ******** event unfold... Well I feel like I just won EvE...GG Mittens.... Cool

Yes, what a terrible and anti-social attitude to take.

A slightly odd position to be in. To be fine with the punishment, yet irritated at the drama and obvious ulterior motive based behavior surrounding the situation. If you voice that annoyance, it immediately gets rebroadcast as tears or fury at the punishment... as apparently context is a dirty word on the EVE forums.

As they say though, this too shall pass... and in the end simply magnify the Goon reputation as having pivitol roles in many of EVE's most memorable events.

... and I don't even particularly like most Goons (thought there are exceptions).

Well, again, this is unfortunate, just browsed through the feed more.Sad To goons, if any of you are actually concerned about the alliance/Mittani, get ahold of him, don't let the meta game get on here and bring the pirates as a pirate. Majority of the non sockpuppets like the idea of the Jita, The heavy war push north would be good for the economy. lastly, try to get him off forums/tweet for a week if there is RL issues caused by all of this. Let it burn itself out, come back to eve and come april most will have forgotten.
