As we know, EVE has a massive economy issue of too much ISK in, not enough out. A solution to this is implementing an ISK Sink.

One of the best ISK sinks in EVE is the destruction of assets. So, thus, with the burning of Jita, you'll be assisting CCP in the fixing of the economy. So, for that, I thank you.

EDIT: I'll say that it's not an ISK sink purse, but CCP Eyjog says that the destruction of assets makes the EVE Universe go round. and, he's a freakin economist, so he must know his stuff... I hope... And yes, insurance makes it a faucet, but I've not cared for insurance for so long that I forgot it even existed :P

I thought ship destruction is an isk faucet due to insurance, not a sink.

Destroying asserts isn't an isk sink. Only isk sink is when isk is given to an NPC. Please learn the difference.

that and is still an asset sink, which makes money move more and people to buy more! and thus spreads isk better reducing inflation, i for one will make sure i get some hypertanked ship at jita to salvage all the wrecks.

Love how you fundamentally mis-understand the economy of Eve.

The destruction of ships is actually an isk faucet, through insurance.

It is, however, a mineral sink, which is good, because it causes a rise in the mineral basket.

I'd love to see CCP respond by having concord ships 10 times their numbers.

that would be funny.

I really hope they do well in this endeavor. I stand to profit from it. Gank every single freighter and industrial leaving and/or entering jita please and thank you.

Also, someone above said that insurance creates an isk faucet not necessarily an isk sink, which is true for gankee's depending on the ship of course. My question, how much does a freighter pay out in insurance? I am of course too lazy to check for myself

I plan on living forever.......so far, so good.

Well, with the plans being made public knowledge across eve, It could also easily be explained in the lore as 'concord make preperations' P

Okay, the OP's semantics were a tad off. Let's reset.

Get your Goonships Concorded in your Jita tantrum, get no insurance, increase likelihood of having to replace said ships. Replace said ships en masse in the fury of a three-year-old's "I wanna" mall rant in Jita, increase amount of ships beyond the normal market traffic that are sold.

How's that? Did you get it this time?

Bluntly, if it breaks Jita's grip on the market, that's actually healthy for the game. As trade spreads back out to the other trade hubs and surrounding regions, it opens up more niches for the smaller traders to get their foot in the door.

Of course this is healthy for the game, it is player generated content.

The best part about this is refitting and reloading will be a breeze. Everything you could want will already be in system.

It's gonna be a Jita Thunderdome.

Works right down to the part where GSF is manufacturing their own ships. Try again.

What's it like, not owning any tech moons?
