The Jita burns event will be sometime at the end of next month. Totally coincidentally their leader's temp ban will end at the same time.

The burn Jita campaign was actually planned far in advance, to celebrate passing the 10k votes landmark.

It's just now they have another reason to party in Jita.

April 28th, Party at the top of Jita.

It's like that movie The King of New York.

Only Christopher Walken's character is the Mittani.

And instead of getting out of jail and eliminating the competition in New York, he's coming back to a video game from his temporary ban and making some spaceships shoot other spaceships.

and then...

They're going to loose the Tornados on a bunch of unsuspecting freighters - they're going to keep this up as long as it takes to TEST and see if CCP has changed as a result of all this after which they will have more information with which they can decide.
