buy 20plex with isk
get graphics card
use it in a new build, upgrade current build, or use as physx card if your an nvidia nut
failing that you could sell it, but its a one time deal
personally i would use it in a new build so i can run stuff smoothly

Ah...I completely missed that in the video twice. So they are limiting to start. It makes sense. Like with most transactions of this nature, CCP is going to buy those cards from Nvidia and then sell them to the players and make a profit. Instead of buying thousands of cards and being sunk in them if it fails they will start small and test the waters. Thanks for pointing that out in the video guys.

Since I already bought a 560Ti recently I will likely buy one to use as a PhysX card in my current system or to build my wife a good gaming rig she can play her games on.

True, but they don't accept ISK. Sad

So this is deal only for those who earned that ISK ingame, not a deal if you just use $$ to buy the PLEX.

EDIT: Also bulk PLEX price is 17.495 per PLEX (excluding special offers which can go less.)

I also hope that those Nvidia cards will have some cool Eve logos or stickers, or something. That would well worth the extra price.



Why would a logo be worth more when you would never see it other than when you installed the card.

Built a new high end comp for my bro, the whole thing is color co-ordinated, matched an high end. Very stylish and visually appealing. Is quite visible in his office. Many people, myself included have higher end cases or setups where such things are clearly visible due to size. Much like people will chrome engines in cars, people will choose and set up cases for flash. Hardware makers have known this for years, with most high end components being designed around visual appeal.

Yeah, the difference is those car jocks aren't throwing their investments in the trash every 5 years and don't usually pay twice more for what an engine is worth. Conversely, their investments are going up in value. Investments in cool looking computers only go down in value. But, whatever floats your boat.
