This happend to a candidate I voted for on another CSM, I dealt with it.

You voted for the best candidate at the time, after that he decided not to follow the rules, he got banned and thus cannot be CSM.
I voted for two other players, they decided to stick to the rules and are now active in the CSM (one of them might become chair now)

I guess its only funny when it happends to others, I am sure I can find a few choice reactions of goonswarm members and The Mittani on the banning of other CSM members and see what they had to say, I doubt it would prove constructive though.

and yh whilst i agree a banned player shouldn't be allowed on the CSM, he shouldn't of been banned in the first place, there's massive room for interpritation in everything that happened

yes you can have your vote back, but it ain't gonna be re-validated, so wait a year and all will be fine. we're not going to wait for 10k voters to vote another inappropriate candidate to the council of whatever

I love how its assumed that everyone who voted for Mittens is a goon. I voted for him because he got **** done and seemed to streamline the CSM internally. Mittens for CSM 7 alt and CSM 8 chair.

Actually it is true. PR quotes from CCP giving credit to the CSM to help placate accusations of its irrelevance notwithstanding. CCP ignored the CSM, made the worst changes ever, reacted to all of the unsubs and then threw the CSM some credit as damage control. This is only as surprising as it is inconvenient for your pro-Mittani agenda.

Its what happened. No one with half a brain was fooled by it. Many of us called mittens and his CSM on it when CCP gave them credit for it.

CSM 6 being called the best CSM is hilarious cause CCP didnt even listen to them. Which lead to incarna. And it was players that moved CCP not the CSM who tried to cover for CCP at the start. MIttens jumped ship on CCP when he realized what way the wind was blowing.

This is irregardless of whether he did kill himself or not, but what would you have said if he did? Point being, the end result (effect) doesn't matter in this case, its the initial set of actions (cause) that matters. Should CCP allow players to gamble on it until it really happens?

Don't get me wrong. Suicide over a game is stupidity on an epic level, but CCP is not here to judge his intelligence.

The victim responded. He hasn't formally accepted Mittani's apology.

Furthermore, Mittani resigned on his own accord. CCP didn't remove him from the CSM.


he resigned as chair, ccp banned him for 30days, which forfits his right to be there at all, that's what my problem is
also there have been many quotes from the dude about not caring, untill people started harassing him over this, that's the F**ked up part, people only started harassing him AFTER the big mouth forum warriors started to kick up s**t, well done to them for achieving nothing and being hollow in there butthurt when mittens became chair again
