An unnofical explanation as to why you hate us

Methinks this is just a publicity stunt, really. I know if I had a large alliance and wanted to do the same thing.. I wouldn't tell anyone..let alone shout as loudly as possible that I was. This is probably just for the lulz on their comms.

I see another one fails to grasp what Jita is known for.

Trade

Jita is the heart of Eve's trade, the single market, in which speculators, marketers, Eve-bankers and traders go about their everyday business to make 'honest' Isk.

To burn Jita does not just mean to blow everything up, but it is also means to keep it under blockade.

Now imagine, the hub of trade, shut down for a few days because some pesky tanks decide to block the doors.

The implications, while small at first, will begin to hit people hard.

Now two things will possibly happen:

1) People will form a new trade hub, a new home. This I would approve of. It would mean that people will stop relying on Jita for 'everything' and will promote competition between the two trade hubs. If more trade hubs are made, then the better. It gives us, the consumers, choice.

2) People will just not go there and no trade hub is formed. Well, then the Eve market burns, simple.

Personally, if outcome 1 occurs, I approve.

Every time I receive a new feed from http://failbook.failblog.org/ and see a post picturing the america stupidity reminds me of goons, simply because you guys are really good at doing alone the same thing this site does for you.

No anger at all, just a statment of fact; the sandbox NEEDS to have bad guys that knock down our castles and throw sand in our face. If we didn't have that, this wouldn't be the dystopian universe of Eve where spaceships are serious business, it'd be 2nd Life in space and we'd all be playing dress up.

Other games have factions that you choose when you roll and never change, that other faction is your enemy. Eve has corps & alliances that you choose to join. Be it MOO, BoB, Goonswarm or whatever comes, Eve needs alliances that just want to watch the world burn.
