Will the PLEX prices keep on increasing?

In Jita and Domain the prices have raised for more than 15M in less than 2 days and buy orders at 500M+ appears.

While Jita seems to be the center of the phenomena it spreads all along the universe very quickly.

I don't see massive buy orders nor massive sell ones.
So, why such an increase? Is there a limit? Speculation or pure inflation mechanics?

This market is out of my reach but from a player point of view (who buys plex to play), do you think the prices can increase again?
Would you advice to buy now for future gametime?

Before stopping a year ago I bought plex at 350M....

Lots of questions. I can only speculate.

Eve's economist has stated that they do not yet see inflation to be game-breaking. As a result most of the new changes and features comming with Inferno seem to only fuel inflation rather than try to combat it. I think the current spike in the general price level (specifically in PLEX and materials) is largely a result of speculation: people expecting some measures against inflation to be anounced at fanfest didn't get that and had to adopt their expectations. This does not mean that this development is not supported by the normal market. Prices will continue to go up for a long time if CCP doesn't act against inflation.

Edit: some more specific answers:
Is there a limit? Yes, I think prices will reach a natural limit as the overal design of the Eve economy looks solid to me. I don't see PLEX go beyond 1 billion unless CCP adds some more stuff to fuel inflation.
Buy now? Yes, but prices go up and down. I expect a new CCP sales promotion soon, which also could be a good moment to buy.

I seriously believe the graphics card deal is limited. Even after the 20 Plexes for a Graphics Card deal ends, I believe the prices are going to stay this high unless people make a stand and buy a ton with real money and sell them for 400 mill.

The whole situation has been engineered for this. It started with the nex store, which caused prices to jump from around 250m to 350-400m, and now this nvidia deal is pushing up the prices even further. More people using plex for things other then game time = more plex get bought on market = plex prices go up = a lot of people stop using isk to pay for game time because the impact on their in game wallet is too big = ccp rakes in all the dosh. All of it.

p much. ccp gets a more consistent revenue stream and given their financial insecurity last year that makes sense as a business strategy direction.

the drawback is that this could have serious negative implications on gameplay and consequentially on their bottom line long term as more people stop being able to 'afford' pvp and pve becomes more and more time intensive.

...so rather than paying your game time with a plex that *someone* bought for 15$, you buy it directly for 12$. how is that a good deal for CCP? you'd think they want to sell as many plex as possible no matter what they are being used for.

I should buy an Ishtar.
