market and other windows cause 2-6 second client freezes

when i load the market or click an item in market, basically anything that loads market data, i mean its really any window, even just opening character sheet...

Completely freezes the 3d window rendering in the background for a good 2-5 seconds its horrible experience

flying in space or looking at my ship in in dock (cq off) the 3d engine just sticks client basically locks up for a few seconds and then once the window shows the client jumps back to working again

Core i7 920
6gb RAM
Radeon HD6950
Windows 7 64bit

Settings for 3d dont seem to be the issue that i can tell
