Mittani CSM mistake and CCP responsibility

Ok as from all the footage and reports I've gather from various sources I've compiled it down to a simple statement.

Yes what the Mittani did during Fanfest was wrong on a moral level and regardless of him being intoxicated he should still face some ramifications for his flauntant actions. You wouldn't let a person commit murder while he was drunk and let him walk away just because he was drunk would you? No. Although I do believe some of the more extreme actions taken against the Mittani are pushing the edge. Now on the other hand. As all attention has been focused on The Mittani during this event where are the ramifications against CCP for even REMOTELY allowing this to happen go? Even the CCP moderator there should face some punishment for not using their better judgement when he knowingly allowed him to speak while intoxicated.

Now fanfest will be a boring, alcohol free powerpoint presentation. All due to poor oversight by CCP.

Not at all, it's been a alcohol fest for years and will continue to be so, it's just that some people who can't hold their liquor while making bad choices on presentation subjects mess it up, mostly for themselves. I'm failing to see the problem here.

Excellence is not a skill, it's an attitude.

All these goddamn threads about the Mittani are far FAR more bothersome than what he did.

I believe CCP should also be held responsible for what happened at the Fanfest. So therefore I'm forming a petition to have CCP publicly address and apologize for this fiasco. No I'm not a goon fan but regardless both goons and anti-goons alike should all feel CCP shares equal responsibility for allowing this to happen. I we really want to get "legal" about it I'm sure the justice systems of both countries would love to see this case get publicity on news channels and not just gaming sites.

And rather than replying in one of the other 352 Goonie threads, you just HAD to create a new one?

hope they don't go overboard with banning the alcohol. maybe just preventing presenters from being intoxicated or taking shots while on stage will be enough...
