Tbh, the only reason any of this has become 'big news' is that people wont shut up about it and just move on. He did a rotten deed, got punished, end of story in my book. He was a good chairman though, so its the EVE community that really lose out from all this, prolly best to lay the subject low, lest more ill winds blow tbh.

In before DHD starts crying in this thread and sending so many petitions that he gets banned for abusing the system. Cool

Having 20 percent of a small percentage of total people vote for you, does not grant you free reign to ignore common sense and decency when broadcasting live across the internet. What would have happened if the miner had actually been watching, had been in a bad state, and upon seeing that presentation, topped himself?

I know its hypothetical, but when 20 percent of a voting community votes for you, the last thing you should be doing is condoning/encouraging rl suicide in a very public way. Makes those 20 percent look a little dim for voting tbh.

I actually like The Mittani, hes one of the reasons I came back to EVE after the riots, he helped steer the game back onto its true course. Last thing I wanted to see was him squandering the CSM chair over a poor choice of presentation subject matter. Alas, squander it he did, everyone will get over it and get on with playing again. The next CSM chairman may even be better than Mittani was. Cool

The behavior exhibited is not becoming of an eve player, let alone someone he supposedly represents.

CCP should have him unceremoniously removed immediately, and banned.
