This is a cynical half hearted gesture that rings very hollow. You have brought disgrace on the CSM, CCP and the Eve community in general. While I suppose it is "better than nothing" it does not undo the damage you have caused us all. Stepping down entirely is the only way to remove the stain of your poor judgement.

I ask you to look beyond your power mad aspirations and do the right thing for us all: Step down from the CSM so that we can begin the healing process and get some closure. Mainstream gaming media will adore you for it and the players will rejoice. Merely abdicating the Chair is a token gesture that will be viewed with cynicism not from just your detractors, but by everyone who is familiar with who your really are. I am outraged that you think this does anything to address the severity of what you have done to us all.

Instead of this token gesture, if in fact this what you think will atone for what you have done-do something meaningful and quit the the Council completely so that the CSM may once again enjoy the respect of the player base. I urge you to take into account the bigger picture and for once-do the right thing. Your full resignation is the one and only this that will set this right.

did you have that written down somewhere ready for this post? I mean c'mon it had been like 3 minutes.. -___-

bravo, sir.

I do not like the men on this spaceship. They are uncouth and fail to appreciate my better qualities. I have something of value to contribute to this mission if only they would realize it. - Bill Frug

I am, obviously, disappointed that you are resigning (I voted you because I think you're the best person for the role, not because you're the bumbling madman in charge in my alliance), but can completely understand why.

More important; HELLO JITA, CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU GUYS REAL SOON NOW.

Disappointed, but respect your decision.

Glad you're staying on CSM, I think the effort you've put into it should be making headlines, not a mistake, one which you own.

Please continue the good work with the game designers and CCP. You seem to be one of the more knowledgeable leaders in EVE with a good group of resources at your disposal. This is what we voted for, someone who can pull that together.

Do EVE Online a favor and run for chair next year.

There is literally no way you could've read the entire OP then written that in the four minutes between the thread being posted and you posting this wall of text. You just scanned a couple of lines and decided it was 'insincere' didn't you?

You know, when Mittens posted this thread, he let us know on Jabber, along with a personal CEO update for us to read (and someone else to leak to EN24 later :v:). That's how WE knew it was there.

In order for you to have posted a reply so quickly, you must be sitting at your computer for hours on end, F5ing this and other forums, simply so you can ~get your word in~. I pity you. Go outside.
