What is wrong with this picture?

Yesterday the most uber of all the NPC killers managed to destroy 3,472 NPCs.
He is a titan pilot.
Several other top 10 NPC killers are also titan pilots.

Cost wise: Titan>>>>>>>>>>> the Shiniest of BS in highsec incursions.
Income wise (if you believe the trolls): HS Incursions>> lowsec,0.0, and WH

SOOooo, several of the top NPC killers are "risking" significantly more expensive ships to reap less rewards.

Makes you wonder if the risk vs. reward model is a bit........ off.

3,472 NPC ships. In a titan he'll probably ignore the frigates. So what is that in bounties, 3 B? That's a lot more than you make with incursions.
No risk of losing his Titan to the NPCs, while you can lose your pimped Bs in an hisec incursion if one of your teammates messes up. Incursions need a buff. Twisted

It is a ship that cannot dock. So if your not off fighting or bashing something, might as well pay for the POS that is protecting it. But that is the way that I look at it.

Its very effective you cant even imagine how much effective.

Think ! Why CCP is doing nothing with "Dread Boost" :) huh ? yeah that's the answer. Coz it can be the best ratting ship in game... So called Dreads Boost will never come. Im sure

That's a kill every 24 seconds. With only 30 minutes of downtime. Not the easiest of things to do.

Hell, I'd probably throw that to Sreegs to have a look at.

I would be willing to bet the top 50 all need to be sent to Sreegs lol.

Not to worry. When the scan res is 5 and they can only have 3 locks Titan PvE won't be an option.

Thanks for linking. Glad to see they pulled back on that. Not to go off topic though, I still don't have an issue with Titan PvE. I wouldn't do it but the unavoidable truth is, they have limited value in the game and if someone wants to log thier char in and shoot some squares let them. Beats griefing faction war people in my view.

The alternative right now is to cancel your sub for 6 months so the Titan docks at your clone station and you can store it.

To be clear: I have no issue with titans/SC/carriers/Dreds/whatever doing PVE. In fact I have no "issue" at all.

Just thought it was interesting given the "risk vs. reward" mantra. I have never met a bot with "balls of steel" so if someone is botting in a titan there must be very little risk of it actually assploding. I guess it is also possible that people have finally thrown up thier hands and said "its a GAME. Who Cares?!", which would mean that balancing on risk vs. reward is inefficient now. Like I said, just interesting.Big smile

You want Sreegs to have a look at spawn rates?

nice forum alt. and if he is out ratting ina Titan is because thats all its good for now with all the nerfs that hit the titans. yes i know cannot dock the titan thats why you have a deep safe and log out or better yet a POS.

Risk is the nature of 0.0 not many incursion runners wish to run down there and pop the incursion in your area of space cause they been popped by some of the big alliance blocks and got killed. thats why they do not go is because you pissed on them.

Just maybe people will just grow up and stop bitching about how others play the game. its my decision how i wish to run...NOT YOURS or some scumbag GOON alliance
