Oberon Inc. [OI] was founded in May of 2003 at the very beginning of the EvE cluster. Early on, we learned to work together to forge both awe and respect among the elders of the the EvE community. Our success is due most in part to our unwavering passion to lead our members into the most exciting areas of the EvE universe.

We boldy became the first corporation to single-handedly assemble and deploy a station in 0.0 space. Over the years, Oberon found itself involved of many of EvE's most famous power struggles. From the Great Northern War of 2004 to the ASCN/BoB conflict of 2006/07 to the epic nothern defence against the Band of Brothers' MAX campaigns.

We are bound by a tremendous team spirit and unwavering loyalty to one another; a rarity in EvE. The commitment to our survival and success has have allowed us to prevail and with each passing year we grow stronger. From our inception, any adversity we have faced - we've adapted, overcome and picked new challenges to take on.

We are a proud member of the Morsus Mihi Alliance [RAWR], our primary focus is Player vs Player combat. Our robust industrial wing does very well to support this focus. The bulk of our membership are based in EU timezones while we also welcome members from all timezones.

We do not support piracy of any kind.

What qualities do we look for in our members?

• Ambitious self-starters

• Working microphone and willingness to use it

• Support & respect of your fellow corp mates and alliance members

• Dedication to our collective goals and operations

• 20M skill point minimum, although exceptions are sometimes made.

What do we expect ?

In the simplest of terms, we are looking for you to make a difference in our corporation. Getting to know your corp members is your first priority during your trial period. Your presence on operations will be expected and closely monitored by our directorship.

We all have lives outside of EvE and respect that, however we expect you to be available on a regular basis. If this just a part time, once-in-a-while hobby for you, Oberon will not be a good fit.

There is no minimum level of skill points we expect you to join up with, however, we are looking for people who can demonstrate the ability to make a living to support themselves in 0.0 space while still actively in search of prey. This requires a particular level of maturity and intelligence with a healthy dose of blood-lust.

We are interested as much in your attitude and actions as we are with your skill tree and prowess with combat tactics. If accepted by our recruiters you will have to pass through a trial membership period to demonstrate all these qualities to us.

What can i say, this corp has a heart and a soul, its members are all well in there age or show with there attitude that they have nothing to do with kid behavior. That doesn't mean we have no fun, but the majority of us have kids the attiude is right and in the correct place to have fun together and enjoy the time of from work and blow steam out. It makes me proud as 8th Ceo of the corp hiearchy to lead this great bunch of guys.
The corp structure itself leaves enough open space so you can bring yourself in and achieve something to be proud of being part of a Team. Its not a one man show or a handfull...its a team that has won together, lost together and will do it all over again its eve...
