Nice. We'll try not to claim that it's all done and finished and say bad things when the concepts turn out to just be concepts… P

First fanfest, was awesome. Was also amazed by how many people came and wanted a look at my tattoo Shocked

That and how many people showed up to my eve vs the real world presentation!

Great, so next time, i need to get another tattoo to top this fanfest! Full arm naglfar perhaps?

Thanks to all the devs who make it a great success!

I just noticed the new tracks at AlienHand.dk. I'd like to add on this thread a very special thanks to him from all of us.
I feel a little envious for the first timers to fanfest. I bet you felt a heart swelling sense of accomplishment as you walked into the vip lounge while "Catarina" or " We are Eve" were playing.

As an 8th time Fanfest attendee, I have to say that this was so far my favourite one! Most of the gripes I had with last year's FF had been fixed for this one - including manned wardrobe and a "players only" area for the party.

I'm also happy with what I saw (and tried) of Dust. I was a bit worried about the implementation into EVE and if the game was even worth playing (especially for someone like me who doesn't usually like FPS, mainly because I suck at them, hehe), but I must admit that had I not won a PS3, I'd probably have ended up buying one after all, despite having told myself I wouldn't.

Harpa is an amazing building - I am quite curious about attendee numbers though, as you only really noticed the massive amount of people when queueing up to get into TQ.

Last but not least, big <3 to my space bros and sistas!

Another shout-out to failsquad, you guys where awesome. We couldn't have won without you!
And 8th time in a row? you put my 6th in a row to shame, damn you Icelandic drinking laws for preventing me from going to the first two!

And just as you I was positivity blown away by Dust. And walking away with a PS3 and a beta key only made it all the better!

And the venue was very nice, especially the player only lounge though the music in there was a little loud at times but much better than what we had to work with last year. It's so nice to be able to sit down and talk EVE during the party. After all, that's why we where there, right?
What I missed from last year was the theme, I worked hard on making it Minmatar this year and all we got was some scorpions and no Agent mission. Please make it Minmatar themed next year and some new and improved agent missions to go with it.

But as a final note, and the most important note, GO TEAM HAGGIS!
We need to meet up in the beta so that we can win again next year!

It was nice seeing you all again, so ...

Thank you very much for the epic experience, even though we as the Battle of the Bands group "Tiny's little brothers" couldn't really deliver much with our 0 points and a glorious last place Roll, it was still a truly worthwhile experience overall Lol

AWESOMENESS HAS A NAME! ( and it's called FanFest )

First time I was there, and I was mindblown, met soooo many people, got more drunk than I had in years, and had a generally awesome time. I'm more or less recuperated now, though my feet are still being very cross with me about what I made them do last week. The pool party at the blue lagoon helped a lot though.

I will most certainly be there next year, which I hope will be even more Epic than this year ( which is a tall order methinks )

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

Btw, I kept thinking that you were not wearing a shirt and had a giant tattoo, and I know I'm not the only one who made that mistake a few times Lol

Edit: here is the picture I was talking about (at least of the guy with the giant tattoo, which I thought was AlienHand, maybe I got it wrong thoughP)

watching fanfest made me decide to come next year. I was there during the first, I should be on the tenth year of EVE.

This year was my first Fanfest and it was so freaking awesome!

Getting ninth place in the poker tourney was one of the highlights of my trip, as was the pub crawl with group Lucky Number 7. I'm hoping to make it again next year for the tenth anniversary of our beloved game.

When I finally do make an impact on this universe, it will reverberate across the entirety of it, and no one will be able to truthfully claim they don't know me. - -

Until then, I'll just sit quietly over here, minding my own business...

a big thank you to CCP and most of all to the players, this years fanfest was amazing, so much fun, so much madness, combat phil you know what i mean Roll

one thing though, party could have been better, it's a bit worrying when the dev band is better than the main ones.
no vodka shot girls, no live agents, no beer cards,, return these to next years please.

still it has to be said, fanfest 2012 was brilliant, although i did think last years was better.

Awesome work on FF2012 CCP! I still have never made it in person, but I live it vicariously through the HD stream from EveTV who does a super fantastico job of making it real for those of us who can't fly out to a rock in the middle of nowhere. I can't wait to watch all of the roundtables and other sessions that weren't broadcast live when they finally go up on YouTube.

If I had one suggestion to make for 2013 it would be this: PLEEEEEEEASE oh PLEAAAASE sort the situation where half of the sessions don't even have mic runners so that questioners in the audience can be heard on the broadcast! Srsly, it's not rocket science or anything...
