I like his kill board and how he's taken out a number of orca's and other ships.
I also like how his corp looks like a botting corp but his alliance has an alright KDR

It shouldn't be acceptable to threaten suicide and you should petition the convo if you think it is a threat or even if you think the person needs help.

The problem is telling a bunch of people to harass him. That is the only problem and anything else is just The Mittani bein a ****. I knew he was a **** when when I voted for him but singling out someones possible suicidal intentions and calling for harassing that person is wrong. It doesn't matter if you are 99.9% sure that he is just a drama queen and not an unstable person who is deeply affected by a video game when the result of the other 0.01% is a corpse.

So yeah if attacking someone in game within the rules leads to suicide then that is sad but not anyone's fault. If someone kills themselves because they were harassed by a group of people then you're at blame.

It doesn't matter if The Wis was just being a drama queen because he might not have been. You don't know for absolute certain and are playing with a life. I think it might have been a slip up or a bad joke on The Mittani's part but there should be consequences be it his Chairmanship, his seat , his account or even a just reprimand.

I don't think it is okay to fake being suicidal or that players should be responsible for others players mental health but that isn't the issue. I don't dislike The Mittani, that is why I voted for him but what he did is wrong in my book and try as I might I can not get around that.

This is pretty much the problem with all of this drama. People try to take one drunken throwaway comment and make it seem like he sat down and made a powerpoint presentation about how it's his alliance's sole goal in Eve to encourage players to commit suicide over a video game. The presentation was about laughing at stupid spergy drama queens who send angry mails and make rage posts over losing ships, and in my opinion there's nothing wrong with being amused by that kind of thing.

But you know what, I'm having a hard time this morning. It's Tuesday morning, I'm in work, I haven't had any coffee yet, and now I have to avoid doing any work in order to read about idiots on the forums who are blowing something out of proportion. It's all getting too much and in fact I am considering KILLING MYSELF!

Watch as everybody flocks to my side and attempts to talk me down from the ledge, telling me "we are all behind you, don't worry". Because apparently Eve-O thinks it's perfectly acceptable behaviour to threaten to commit suicide over a video game in order to make people feel bad about killing or scamming you, but if you laugh at that person for being a ******** drama queen, then you are literally Hitler

I watched the whole 1 hour 16 minute Alliance Panel presentation and agree with Jafit.

The Alliance CEO's of - Eve University, The Dark Space Initiative, Gentleman's Agreement and Dirt Nap Squad - gave a semi professional fun informative presentation of their Alliance history, it's stance and goals mixed in with some humor which is probably normal and expected.

The other Alliance CEO's - No Holes Barred, Test Alliance and Goonswarm - gave a pre-planned presentation based solely on the humiliation and sorrow they have inflicted on others in-game. Not only did they revel in it, their conduct as CSM members is unprofessional and demeaning. Being drunk doesn't excuse Test Alliance and Goonswarm CEO's constant use of foul language and aggressive belligerent attitude. The statement made by Goonswarm CEO, starting at 1:12:00 time stamp in the video, was definitely uncalled for and very spiteful. Everyone can plainly see it's not a causal drunken throwaway statement made in jest, especially with the related preamble at 1:01:36 to 1:04:50 video time stamp.

Not only that, trying to justify conduct that is a blatant disregard of EULA rules and CCP policy is pathetic, especially when you mock, mimic and try to ridicule the issue in your own statement.

Ty for the posts Jafit, Alara,DMC. I respect the Mittani and certain members of the swarm. But the way Goons posted about in any thread which was even asking the question was totally defensive and trollish. I mean,I shouldn't have expected anything more/less tbh. Oh well,it's out of our hands now. Time will tell.

Indeed. Playing around with this kind of stuff is not smart. Just look at the Rutgers Univ. cyberbullying case. That dumb 18 or 19 year old kid is going to prison for up to 10 years. Or consider the many other cyberbullying cases that have ended up badly in the past few years. Whatever one's opinion is about griefing/tear-collecting, people ought to at least have enough sense to not get their ignorant arses into legal trouble.

All I can say is that his spelling is terrible, he ought to be ashamed.
