This if from http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/What_is_the_CSM the chapter concerning eligibility:

Quote:
Candidates are expected to be active on the CSM forums and participate in the discussion of topics.

The reason I post this is because I believe there is now an elected member who doesn't come even close fulfilling this requirement.

Greene Lee
- she has a total of THREE (3) posts on the CSM forum, all in her candidacy thread. Rest few posts are in the character bazaar.

Why I take an issue with this? Because communication with the whole playerbase is obviously the single most important task of a CSM member. The requirement for active participation in discussion should be enforced.

DISCLAIMER: I have no political agenda, I have no stake in 0.0 politics. I have an issue with a community representative who has never even communicated with the community.

No argument here.

They wanted the job, they should put in the effort.

Regardless, they are on CSM and therefore represent all of EVE. I think it is silly to suggest any kind of enforcement of Councilor-Public interaction on CCP's part, but it would be gratifying to see all the Councilors interact with the public in some fashion whether that is through Twitter, a personal Blog or the official forums instead of keeping to their own Alliance/Coalition channels and forums. vOv

To be honest though, it doesn't really matter as long as they are cooperating with the rest of CSM and contributing to the Skype discussions. vOv

I dont think he should be disqualified or anything, he should just be told to become more active, and he should step up a bit.

the CSM forums are a private forum section that the CSM uses to communicate with CCP, you are talking about Jita Park.

The candidates don't even have access to those private forum sections. We are talking about eligibility for candidacy now.

CSM is not a clown dancing for your pleasure in the circus. It is work. I'm working with ppl who elected me, with guys who have ideas how to improve eve and i'm always open for them. They know how to reach me. If you need some public striptease or forum drama, you have voted for the wrong person.

Keep in mind I could care less so I'm not defending the OP... But they meant that the eligibility requirements for running in the first place state that one must be an active member of the forums.

No idea if thats true or not since I've never read them.

Well that is very good first post, sweetie.

Just for the record, who you are or what you do doesn't interest me, your person or opinions are irrelevant.

This discussion is about the fact that CCP has set expectations for candidate eligibility, which you do not meet.

She did meet them. She participated in her own CSM Candidate Thread, and answered all relevant questions that were asked of her. So yes, she was both active and participated in the discussion.
