Mitt resign? Not so fast. CCP enforce your rules.

The good chairman of the CSM has been a member of this body for some time. As a member, and as chair, he should be well aware of what he agreed to in order to hold both positions. He, also, should be aware he violated that agreement in a most aggregious way. (All one need do is read his admissions in his rather gallant, courageous and generous apology.)

We violate the EULA or TOS, these are enforced against us by the powers that be.
He violated his solemn word. He goes.

As a gentleman he could resign and save CCP the embarrassment of having to dismiss him. However, it's clear CCP has no choice in the matter. Mitt made the choices for all concerned when he decided to do what he did.

CCP. Enforce your rules.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

He's already resigning. He won't back out of that or try to make excuses like (oops, I cant leave after all!), as it would make him look completely pathetic and that's not the kind of guy he is. Continuing on like this is pointless. Now we just wait and see who the new chairman is.

So what exactly did he agree to? It's not like the CSM is sworn in with some honor code.

"Candidates are expected to be active on the CSM forums and participate in the discussion of topics. They are also expected to adhere to the EULA/TOS and carry themselves in a manner that sets an example for other players to follow. In addition, they must be willing and able to travel to Iceland once during their term for a direct meeting with the CCP Council. Should a Representative be unable to attend this meeting, an Alternate will attend in his or her place. Transportation to and from Iceland, plus lodging, lunch, and dinner will be provided by CCP. Candidates are responsible for all other expenses incurred during the trip. Elected Representatives and Alternates are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before commencing their term.

If a candidate is unable to fulfill these requirements, the candidate with the next highest vote tally will be given their position. This process will continue until there are a total of nine Representatives and five Alternates."

Oops, he didn't violate the EULA. Your argument is invalid.

I bet the next thread someone makes on this topic will be even better and contain new information that hasn't been rehashed in every other thread on this topic.

Your thread on the other hand just indicates you're a self-important idiot that has an inability to enter into ongoing discussions in other threads.

Getting in on the ground floor of what I'm sure will be an exciting and productive thread. With that in mind, it should be noted that Wiz or Wis or whatever his name - I, like you, can not remember as I do not care - has stated his lack of interest in such matters.

Requesting thread lock.

I'm pretty sure Mittani has been to Iceland on more than one occasion and, incidentally, payed his bar tab on each visit.

Au contraire, mon ami. This thread is saying it's not UP to Mittani to resign. This thread is saying it's CCP's decision, not his nor the playerbase's. How did you miss such a subtle point as that? All the OTHER threads are calling for Mittani to resign. Ms. Repose is saying (not to belabor the point) he made HIS decision when he decided to act like himself in public.

Then...I wouldn't expect Mittani supporters to be able to follow sentences very well. Grunting seems more up that alley.

Hilarious. Did he suggest to the bartender to jump off the roof while he was there?
