After taking a mini-EVE vacation to re-center my enjoyment of the game and decide on the fate of Pod Goo I have returned with renewed focus and direction. So what can you expect from the new podcast?

  • Interesting blogs and stories about EVE Online's capsuleers. I am no longer going to associate Pod Goo with the meta-meta-game of baiting or reacting to the bittervet sperging concerning how terrible this game is. I enjoy EVE. I enjoy EVE because the people in it can be so interesting.

  • Quote:
    O wonder!
How many goodly creatures are there here! How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world! That has such people in it!

  • Ender's War College. The War College is constructed of lessons that tie real world military concepts to EVE Online. We'll discuss the US Army's Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) for creating plans to execute your corporations goals and missions. We'll discuss how to communicate without extraneous verbiage. Several episodes will be dedicated to what leadership is and how to wield it.

  • That is the new direction of the podcast. It all starts now, with Episode 26 which I published tonight.

You can get the Pod Goo Podcast via iTunes or directly at http://www.podgoo.com

Thank you Ender, nice episode - I listened last night.

I gotta say I enjoy that you're upbeat, optimistic, and talking about the game. I liked what you said about fleet roles and fleet etiquette since I've had far too little fleet experience so far - oh dear I should find my main a more active corp for the sake of my learning curve P - the reality check is that soloing can only get me so far.

This episode is super prep for understanding chain of command when characters die, the need to follow orders and not question them, necessity for silence in comms, knowing roles, clear minimal communication with no misunderstandings, the need for fleets to be motivated, etc. I highly recommend your Pod Goo Podcast!! :) It's great even for newer players, very useful info.

Glad to see you back Ender. I left a comment on your blog site. May want to check your spam queue. ;)

Also wanted to point out here as well that I've tried several times to download the podcast from iTunes with no luck. It is failing about 1/3 or half way through.

Looking forward to listening to it as soon as I can get it.

    Welcome back!

I got your comment Katia, but I have no idea what to do about a faulty iTunes feed. God, I want to kick Apple in the balls for creating that abortion of a "service." Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong with my feed that iTunes is borking on it?

You might can check with Arydanika on Voices from the Void. Seems I recall they had some issues with their iTunes feed at first.

Always a great podcast Ender, thanks for taking the time to do it.

Do you still intend on doing the FW summit? I've been looking forward to it, the one you did on WH's was great.
