If you can't identify who's saying what in the Anoikis chronicle, you probably should evemail me.

The answers are... dependent upon facts not available in the chronicles.

It may not make sense at first.

?

I wasn't talking about the Anoikis Chronicle and I'm pretty sure I know who the key characters are, including the obvious error.

As a long-time roleplayer (PIE, CVA) in the Amarr Block, it's funny seeing new'ish threads on this topic from newer RP'ers who tried to RP to the big Sleeper/Jove mystery.

Let me pass on what many of us Amarr RP'ers learned a long long time ago.

RP for yourself, as yourself. Never RP based totally or mostly on the Prime Fiction.

Your story, the story of your character doing what he does in the game, is what counts. Not some fairy tale story you wrote, but what you DO, in-game, in the Universe we play and live in.

If you tie your RP to creative writing, based on the CCP Prime Fiction, you will always end up dissapointed as CCP moves teh story along, and as usual retcons, changes or ignores whole chunks of previous Prime Fiction releases.

I understand you (and we) all want consistency. We're not going to get it.

Knowing that, base your RP with that in mind. You (and me) are just small fries in the grand scheme, unelss we DO something big inside the game. Not here on forums, or in some great (but in the end just fluff) creative writing assignment. What we do in game, fighting wars, winning great political conflicts, or just exploring and telling others what we found in-game, THAT is the RP you and I can control, and where a smart player would focus his RP efforts.

There is a reason CVA is not tied directly to Amarr Empire PRime Fiction RP. why we're doing our OWN thing in Providence, with only a small core nugget of prime fiction RP behind it.

We are, in short, creating our own story, a story CCP can never destroy with a retcon, nor screw up with the next news item.

Whereas my poor brothers in PIE.....I'm frankly not sure how they've managed given all the changes, flip-flops, crazyness and fail of CCP's rewrites of Amarrianism.

Don;t be limited by CCP.

Tell your own story.

You will, in the end, be far happier. LIVE the in-game story, don't talk about OOG stories.

Thank you, Mr. Cononach, on your explanation on how the EVE world that we players live in and the EVE world written about in chronicles and novels are in two opposite ends of the universe. Perhaps parallel universes, even.

Something that left me a little intrigued at the end of Templar One was the final taster chapter about the Brokers enclave, and his likely fate.

I spent some time wondering who, he or she was. I get the feeling we should know who he is, and at first I considered Haatakan Oiritsuu, but ruled that out.

I wonder if we might see a future book about the Brokers activities, but I think that would be a pretty hard book to write.

The finale of the drones breaking into his enclave got me wondering about the intelligence behind the drones.

Did anybody else notice the clue of Mack's Tin Soldiers?

Ever noticed how Eve 514 is pronounced by CCP staff; as 5-14 and not five hundred fourteen.

Did you know that element 5-14 in the periodic table is Tin.

Did you know that dust is mostly dead skin ?

Dust 514 is therefore the Dead Skin Tin Soliders.

The Templars were being taken over by sleeper consciousness.

We know who the Empearans are; you and I, players.

Who controls Tin Soldiers and Templars?

Former 'Sleepers',

Sleepers are the untold masses that don't play Eve.

Right Wyke, right. It is not like that about now everybody should be aware that 5:14 refers to the Amarrian Scriptures.

Or the untold masses that might play Eve OR Dust.. Blink

Some further reading for you Wyke, Japanese Empire,Ainu, Shinto, Yomi.

Perhaps, more appropriately, the State of Japan.

It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then, and it's a poor sort of memory that only works backward.
