Why doesn't Goonswarm take down the Russians?

Whoever the "Russians" are, lol. From browsing the forum, it seems as though the Russians are some kind of Alliance bloc that dominates this or that. And the Goonsward is a generally disliked Alliance bloc that... well, does something. Fights, I guess. It seems the Russians are less liked. So why not have Goonswarm get a little rep repair by taking down the Russians?

goons are currently fighting somewhere else.

and DRF is the biggest supercap fleet on eve, and so there ennemis are waiting for SC nerf before doing something.

This tbh. There is no counter for supercaps at the moment. Except more supercaps.

They can't.
Supers are that broken and the drone regions have that many macros pulling ore to make more.


Talk to your local CSM, I'm sure they will be happy to address both issues. NOT!
Because macros are not an issue in MMORPG's....
& obviously are thus entirely unrelated to the proliferation of supercapitals all around EVE.

Goon doesn't have enough supercaps? There are no strategies to take down the DRF other than "have more"? Seems to me that to get to the size GS is that they have to be good at fighting. Is this a fallacy?

what part of biggest supercap fleet and overpowered you didnt get? when they just drop that fleet it doesnt matter what tactic you will try, you are either dead or forced to run. and i dont say this for the defense of goons or anyone, as im shooting both goons and DRF when i can be arsed to log in. its just a fact in this game atm.

When the russians drop 50 Titans and 150 super carriers into a system, and you have 400 battleships and support ships to counter that, you have 2 choices: die or run.

I was in the periphery of NC before it was destroyed. I saw those kinds of numbers.
I flew primarily logistics in fleets.
On one of my lossses, I have 1 Titan and 6 supercarriers.
Think about that: 7 supercaps to kill a logistics.
No way you can overcome that.

The russians treat Eve differently than many of us.
Most of us play it as a game or hobby.
They treat it as a serious business venture.

No one who plays this game for fun will beat someone who plays this game for rent money.

I do not know how long it will take for you to understand my friend - but they have no souls.

I speak for myself too. It is very hard to kill one.

I was in LV when RED Alliance made a come back from 1 station. Kudos to them for doing the impossible. They just dont give up.

I think when an alliance as dedicated as the russians forms then we can talk about taking them down, right now the serious players are either fighting to get tech moons for RMT or fuel pvp for free, or fighting old enemies out of old grudges.

Becuase goons arent very good either, if DRF wanted to take out goons tomorrow they could with ease. Goons are just full of hot air, once they get attacked they will run thats why...
