Omni-damage

Until recently, I was under the impression that omni-damage was a special type of damage that would always base its net damage on your lowest resistance. But someone told me that sleeper missiles do EM and thermal damage, and that sleeper turrets do explosive and kinetic damage.

Can anyone explain sleeper and incursion Sansha damage to me in as much gritty detail as possible? Numbers, percentages, and calculations preferred. Thanks in advance!

Omni-damage profile 25%, 25%, 25%, 25% (on average). There you go, mystery solved.

Its the other way around, laser will do EM and thermal and missiles will do explosive kinetic. Have no idea where to get details of damage amounts though... but if you had made the subject Incursions... Ammzi would have sorted you out quickly P

Yeah, kin/therm on missiles, em/therm on guns.
It works out to 25% RAW damage in each damage type.

That said, you should focus on tanking em/therm more on small ships and kin/exp on large ships as a small sig radius reduces the damage taken from sleeper missiles a LOT.

I've always been told that small ships aren't viable in sleeper sites, but if what you guys say is true then I can probably find some that are. Thanks for the input.

I've got some testing to do!

While you really have to omni tank in incursions smaller ships need a lil more resists in the EM & thermal BS/BC's need resists a bit higher for Explosive/kinetic due to the banshie torps

just don't pimp it too much; you'll probably lose it in your first C1 anom.

I should buy an Ishtar.

I can warp it out quickly if things get ugly.
