i don't know why anyone would even consider supplying the full api key to a corporation as part of a "background check" when the limited api supplys all relevant information. why do you ask for the full api?

thank you for your message - everything you just wrote is correct and thats why we check it - every non ****** will understand why -we would like to thouroghly check them out

i appreciate the need for keeping spys and undesirables out, i'm not saying you should lower your guard at all. it's just that the old api was black and white, you had limited and full. limited gave you enough information to work off, and full gave you *everything*.

the new api system is much more flexible and a request for your api details should be backed up by sufficient reasons for the request.

for example, out of the entire list of things you can allow any specific api key to expose to someone...

...i would have a hard time understanding, for instance, why you needed to review my *entire* set of contracts, or eve mail messages, or calendar events, or many others.

to stick with a reason of "just because" for asking for every bit of information possible (be it relevant to an application or not) is your prerogative as a currently recruiting corporation, but it's equally as important in the recruitment process to be candid with your prospective recruits with regard to what you want them to give up in terms of personal information and decent reasons why. two cents etc.

new eve api system ftw \o/

Null-sec industry is like a homeless person finding an abondoned beer truck on the side of the road. There is plenty to go around and not many people you need to share with.

But I suppose if thats not your style you can stay in hi-sec and beg for scraps in the low-end belts.

As an coldblooded empirecarebear, i had my doubt.
but Corp helped me a lot, moving and starting to make isk was easy as nullsec logistic could be.
Our home offered many ways to get rich and i've been on those like catholic priest on litt... seremony on sundays.

you'll only see me on empire when i drop by to buy my goldplated mining crystals
