First off, I am not a goon alt. I am the alt of a miscellaneous high sec corp player of no importance.

The Mittani has just won the CSM election with the biggest mandate the game has ever seen, I'm sure an actual goon alt could tell you the exact figure, but it was just over 10k votes. He is the first player to EVER breach 10k votes, and he had well over double the votes of any other candidate.

The public has spoken overwhelmingly in favour of Mittens, and if the CSM is to retain a shread of democratic principle then he must stay as Chairman until he chooses to resign. I have no problem with people petitioning him to resign, but a vocal minority demanding that CCP strip him of the title that the playerbase has bestowed upon him is wrong, very wrong.

If CCP want to hold another election, that would be fine. That might actually be the best solution. But as it is, Mittens has had the overwhelming support of the playerbase, and until a petition with over 10k confirmed signatures can be shown to CCP then he should remain in the office the players have bestowed upon his shoulders.

Whether you agree or disagree with his behaviour, you surely must at least bow down to the will of the people - who have stood beside Mittens.

I'm heading off for a few hours, I expect the butthurt brigade to come out in full force, and for goons to shoot down their whimperings, so thanks in advance for all the bumps.
