Having watched the video, and replayed that section several times.....

The Mittani plays the in-game role quite well, and has done a decent job as Chair of CSM6, none of which 'equal out' what was said, what that statement represents, or the gravity of the statement from the newly-elected Chair of CSM7 in a public event.

Its quite simple Jade Constantine is my eve character who is a space anarchist ship captain and revolutionary and often kills imperialists.

At fanfest on the other hand i'm the rather charming Andrew Cruse instead who is nice to everyone, goes out to resturants and bars and enjoys the company of other eve players without calling on people to be unironically trolled to death in slurred fanfest panel proclamations.

If you continue to be confused (or indeed fascinated) by my character's ingame ideology and roleplayed beliefs in this science fiction universe I'd advise you to look up a book called Cassini Division by Ken Mcloud - its rather good.

Though one might ask where Alexander Gianturco's power truly lays. Surely its in the gaming media since that was the weapon he used last year against CCP during monoclegate and has used consistantly for his alliance benefit and general propaganda throughout his reign. What is laughable is that you use the mans first name like you two are friendly and have chatted in person. One of these two people has the courage to be the person they are, the other has the temerity to act familiar when they hide behind a movie title. looks like when you involve the high energy of an event like fanfest, plus lots of fun an alcohol - stuff happens! based on what i've seen folks have tried to make amends and thats whats important in the end.

Anyways, as almost everyone posting on here, who isn't a goon or an npc goon alt has so strongly stressed and agreed upon, Mittens must resign from CSM and CEO. This is to ammend for this PR nightmare that he has caused, and his zerglings have perpetuated to try to crusade against those who oppose Mittani, despite the ammount of greif they have caused CCP and the Eve Online community. Resignation is the only option, let's get to work.

Since CSM 7 had not yet begun when the statements were made, I wholeheartedly support the Mittani resigning as chairman of CSM6.

Nah, that's too tame of an explanation. A better one is: the Goons have finally gotten organized and have created a realistic and practical public relations plan. They're reporting any of their own posts that make them look stupidunfavorable in order to present a specific image to the public as prep work for the PR campaign.

(There are thousands of Goons, at least one of them should do public relations in the real world, no?)

So where are the goons prepared to stand up and say that what Alexander Gianturco did on stage at Fanfest was unacceptable and he should step down as chair then exactly?

Because the strong impression I'm getting (as I'm sure the rest of the gaming community looking on is getting) is that the goons are quite unrepentant about all this and feel that Alexander shouldn't even have apologised let alone considered resigning over this.

And thats obviously the way the goon collective looks to the outside. I mean the irony is that when responding to many goons as I've done in this thread for example - I might as well just be talking to one person for all the differentiation of opinion and perspective I've experienced in return.
