Props to the Devs who did the User Experience, UI Round Table and UI Workshop thingies. I forgot the name of the guy leading it, I'm ashamed to admit. Sad

The UI roundtable and Workshop was by far the most rewarding thing I've experienced in the two Fanfests I've attended. WELL DONE!!!

I was there!

Favorite part of Fanfest had to be FlyingScotsman talking about his fondness for sheep during the charity dinner. :)

Great to hear! When working on a new concept for Fanfest it's always hard to know beforehand if something will work out or not so getting this feedback is very well appreciated and makes us want to do even better Big smile

We are also committed to taking the comments from the UI session and the results from the UX design session and using them for our upcoming design sessions so stay tuned!

Me too. And awesome job turning around the Tactical Overview into a slide in the Keynote overnight! ;) Good luck working on it. I think it will really be a boon to those of us who like to blow up internet spaceships.

I streamed the fanfest in HD and was a little dissapointed that the UX presentation didn't have any current comps that you're working with, being that my main interest is the UI revamp that has been mentioned.

Could someone please upload the roundtable and other UI discussions to YouTube? That would be superamazingawesome, thanks!

I am finding it hard to properly express how amazingly awesome this week has been, meeting old friends and making new friends, a weekend of awesome interaction with the best fans in the universe topped by a mind blowing party with some great music.

This was my first fanfest since coming to work at CCP and being on the other side of the curtain does not take any of the shine out of this event, thank you to all the fans, colleagues and friends who made this one of the best events I have ever had the privilege of working on.

And just so you know - Team Haggis (The Dust 514 PVP winners for anyone who missed it) - When your picture came up on the big screen during the keynote and you all shouted "TEAM HAGGIS!!!" I had possibly the biggest grin there has ever been on earth plastered on my face. Thank you.

We love you too, Haggis!

Was that Thursday night, around 1-2 am? If so, I completely didn't know that was you. The most awesome thing about Fanfest is getting to meet all the devs and talk to them in a casual environment.

It's ok, the conversation only got better from that point.

Big shout out to CCP Arrow though, because his real name does actually translate to 'Arrow', and he's in the UI team, so he draws Arrows and stuff.

Will be going next year, no two doubts about it, and will be booking as soon as is possible. :)

Props to the PL guys for figuring out the meaning behind my Dev name, few in CCP had Big smile

Looking forward to seeing you all again next year space bros!

I'm not aware of anyone recording anything from the Round Table or Workshop. I did take notes and I would like to find the time to blog about it. I'm not promising anything though. I'm @akely on Twitter and I will tweet a heads up there if I get around to it.

I am glad I came to fanfest this year it was a truly amazing experience and you bet I will be coming for fanfest 2013.

Was very cool meeting so many dev's and other players from the game and partying on for days. 8)

Only regret I had was that my stay in Iceland was so short, next year I will visit for a week or two extra.

massive thanks goes out to everyone at CCP and the staff at Harpa who made this work.

Your hard work and effort doesnt go unmissed and lets make 2013 even more awesome.

This was my third fanfest and the only thing I missed to the other 2 years was the race themed venue.

We do intend coming back next year as its a special one, just hoping it doest fall too near easter or it will be a shame for us.

Special thanks to some people I met when there, you know who you are. Thanks for taking the time to come talk to me when I was on my own :)
